Great place to stay and play golf..

Nice Bar, the hangout is a little older than my preference but the bar is really clean and the drinks are always cold.

• Pros: Very clean and great golf for the price.
• Cons: The rooms are expensive and you can stay across the street for $50 to $100 less.

Love the Spa

I wanted to treat myself to a massage since I have a VERY stressful schedule, so I made an appt w/ Megan for an hour long swedish massage. It was fabulous, she is wonderful, I was so relaxed and stress free, I didn't want to leave! The spa itself is also wonderful, very clean & relaxing, I felt like such a princess! They supply everything you need plus the little extras like heated massage tables, hot towels, lotion, combs, hairdryers, a machine that spins out the extra water in your bathing suit, sauna, pool, refreshments, a very pleasant staff, nice smelling towels, washcloths, shampoo, conditioner and body wash! I cant wait to go back!

NICE GIFT..

I RECEIVED THE HOTEL/SPA PACKAGE FOR A 50TH BIRTHDAY SURPRISE. I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THE SERVICE AT THE SPA AND WOULD GO BACK AGAIN. THE HOTEL IS VERY NICE BUT THE WALLS ARE THIN AND THE SERVICE WAS JUST OK... BUT I WOULD DO IT AGAIN!

Small Hotel, Big Heart

My husband and I stayed here for two nights to celebrate our first anniversary as it is the only nice resort in Charlotte as of the moment. The hotel staff seemed to go out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We planned massages and a brunch the following morning and as always they delivered (my husband and I have visited the spa on numerous occasions) I read another reviewers comment about the patrons of the bar being a little older and I must agree, although the Martini list is awesome (there is even an extragently priced martini at over $80!) The view of the golf course from the room was amazing. This is a nice resort if you wish to go resorting in terms of lounging, eating, playing golf and going to the spa.

• Cons: Bathrooms a bit small for deluxe room

Terrible Staff, Terrible Stay!

My husband and I stayed at "the resort" on our wedding night. We requested a late check-out. The cleaning staff spent the morning screaming to each other up and down the hallway, slamming doors and laughing. They knocked on our door three times to ask if we wanted our room cleaned. Upon check-out, I let the woman at the front desk know how miserable our experience was that morning. She didn't even pretend to care. I would never recommend this resort.

Over the Top Service !

I planned a relaxing getaway and everything was perfect (except for the group of kids in the room accross the hall left unattened all day and night by their parents). The hotel tried to address the situation but it was not something they could untimately control.

The staff was superior and the accomodations pristine, spacious and oh so luxe.

We had a spa service in our room and as a seasoned spa goer I was amazed by the quality and value - we had an excellent therapist who was punctual, professional and gave a full + 90 mins of massage - finally a spa that does not skimp on service time.

We will definitly be back!

great customer service

I came last Thursday for lunch at the resort with my friend. We met Fabien who was very professional and courteous. He informed us very well about the new opening and seemed to be very excited about it.

He made our day and we will be back to try it........

Best Resort and Hotel in Charlotte and North Carolina!

I just came back to this wonderful hotel after visiting it many months ago and continue to say it is one of the finest hotels I have stayed in while traveling the USA.

Since my last visit, the hotel has added a bar and new restaurant called Gallery Restaurant. Again, one of the nicest experiences in my travels. My wife and I had a great steak and the selection of wines were also quite good (being from California, I know!)

The employees and all friendly and hospitable. I have yet to come accross one that did not have that southern hospitality.

• Pros: Great value if you wish to be pampered
• Cons: 20 minutes from downtown (if 20 minutes is a lot of time)

Excellent in every way

With the new lead hair stylist fron San Antonio this salon has come up to the standards one would expect and exceeded them. If you're there for hair, I can't think of one negative aspect to a visit!
