My favorite South Charlotte Restaurant. I go to Miro a couple of times each month for dinner, and more often for their wonderful tapas dish with wine. Spend some time at the bar getting to know Dres & Franko - they are laid back but fun to talk to, and have great recommendations for wine selections. My boyfriend is Spanish and knows authentic Spanish cuisine - this is THE place...and very reasonable for what you get. LOVE Miro!!!

I Don't Think So!!!. $40 dollar tip for a $30 dollar meal? I DON'T THINK SO. The manager was rude and said she had the utmost trust in her waiters. My brother told her he would KNOW how much tip he gave because it was coming out of HIS card. She told him he was not welcomed to come back to the restaurant again because of the way he was treating her staff. Who the "bleep" pays a forty dollar tip for a thirty dollar meal?

My favorite restaurant. It's good everytime we've been there. It's difficult for us to branch out to other establishments because we've been disappointed many times before. We have date night twice a month and we go to Miro. The food is consistently good. I love their rack of lamb special and their tres leches cake. The service is exceptional. We've always felt that our dinner cost more than we actually paid because we're never disappointed at Miro's.

Sorry I wasted my time, they were not.. Having eaten there recently with some business associates I was looking forward to celebrating my Birthday dinner there together with my wife. Unfortunately making a reservation didn't include getting a comfortable place to sit. When we arrived the hostess ignored us just long enough for us to inhale some second hand cigarette smoke. There's no ventilation so allowing smoking is a bad idea. Eventually she showed us to a seat next to the door. Good thing we made a reservation. After some discussion (better seats were reserved for someone else), we decided the better option was to find another place to eat. No worries we will not be coming back for any reason business or personal.

great sangria and spanish food. We have been to this place several times and it's become one of our favorites. Every visit we have had good service, never had to wait for a table, great food and wine. Maybe we've been lucky in the service we have received or maybe the management has addressed the problems posted by earlier users. Give this place a try. You shouldn't be disappointed.

Been There It's great. Great Foods worth the wait. It looks like laura has a problem everywhere she goes. Just stay home and not go out. Others around you would be better off w/ out you siiting next to them.

Service Aweful, wait 90 minutes with a reservation. Looking for a reservation and then have to wait 90 more minutes, then this is the place. Bar holds about 6 and there is no waiting area. Hostess was rude beyond belief and treated us like migrants.

Excellent dining experience!. We arrived at Miro on a Friday night wondering what we would find, especially with some of the reviews posted on this site (in 2006). We were immediately seated and within a minute our waiter, Ricardo, welcomed us to Miro and took our beverage order. Our delicious meal was freshly prepared and served hot within 30 minutes of arrival. Throughout the meal Ricardo and the bus staff attended to our needs, never letting our water get below 1/2. Quite a contrast to several previous posts; perhaps they have taken great service to heart and aim to please. By the way there were at least 2 large parties at Miro while we were eating, and the staff appeared attentive to all. The manager on Friday night was Jesus, who greeted us warmly and made us want to return again.

Horrible service. It is never fun to make a reservation and then discover that they do not have a table ready. While this happens on occasion, I have never had to wait 30 minutes (!!!) for a table when reservations were made a week ahead! We waited at the bar, where the bartenders were condescending and rude. After finally getting a table, the waiter did not appear for another 10 minutes, and his service was spotty at best. The food was tasty and well-prepared, however I would not recommend Miro. I've had better service at fast food restaurants!

Service had NOT improved!. Once we got our food, it was quite good, but the rest was just ok and the service was quite bad. We were seated quickly, but waiters walked around us for at least 15 minutes before even giving us water! The service didn't get any better the whole evening. Basically, if you are craving paella and are in the area and don't mind bad service - you'll have a great time!
