Seriously go eat there now!

You will not be disappointed.

Be forewarned that if you call in a to go order they will not drop your fries in the fryer till you get there. But that is just so you don't get sawgy fries! What to try? My personal favorites are the bacon cheeseburger and the french dip, but anything you get will be delicious. It kind of gives me that great after-thanksgiving-meal feeling of sleepiness and satisfaction. Pete and Granville are the best employees there. Oh and if you like ranch with your fries don't hesitate to ask, it is home made and it is the best I've ever tasted.

Killer Burgers and Spuds

This place has the best burger available on Park Rd. The service is quick, easy, and very friendly. Its a nice neighborhood/family restaurant so plan on saying hi to friends you haven't seen in a while, co-workers, church members or even teachers from the nearby schools. They have great patio seating so you can enjoy a meal in the sun during warm weather. TRY THE CHICKEN SALAD or the awesome sandwiches. Its been a neighborhood fixture since the 80's. Don't miss out.

Consistently Great Service & Delicious Homemade Comfort Food

This is the real deal for homemade comfort food at its finest, in a nice friendly atmosphere. The people that work here are so sweet, and not too bad on the eyes either! Locally owned & operated, you gotta respect and support that here in Charlotte. I love to come to Rusty's to meet friends over a casual non-fussy meal, accompanied by a good selection of wine & beer. The inside is cozy, but when the weather is cooperative, I love to sit outside to bask in the sun and people watch while I enjoy my grub. You really can't go wrong with anything here, as everything is made to order -- but when I was still eating meat, I remember that their burgers were really stick-to-your-ribs deliciousness. They're not skimpy on their servings, and my frugal self that compares the ratio of portion size to what you pay truly appreciates this.

• Cons: There are only 2 locations! But, at least it is not a chain!

BEST FOOD IN CHARLOTTE! HANDS DOWN!

Excellent flavors, reasonable price, fast and friendly service. Plus, it is a family friendly atmosphere that mid 20-30 year olds to older generations can enjoy. The interior is a timeless classic style that serves to create a chill out vibe while dining. Everything is cooked to order, made fresh everyday and they have been consistent with this formula for over 25 years. This is one of the last true Charlotte Family owned businesses that has survived the chain restaurant plague.

Try the HomeMade Chili with a stuff spud. That'll warm you up on a cold day.

The Chicken Salad is made fresh everyday. I know alot of people who sware by it.

Fresh cookies, cheesecake, salads and etc........

The burgers are top notch. Folks, this is a REAL QUARTER POUNDER (cooked weight).

You can add any cheese you want, mushrooms, bacon, sauteed onions, etc...etc....

Dont be fooled by McDonald's "quareter pounder" which actually cooks to 2 ounces.

I took my friend from Philly to try the South Charlotte Cheesesteak. He told me it was better than Geno's in Philly. The staff was pleased to hear it and have continued to excel expectations with each meal.

Lunch time can get busy, but not to worry! Call in your order ahead of time and they will have it ready in 10 mins or less for pick up. Sometimes I have these guys cater my office functions as well.

AWESOME SPREADS! Sandwhich trays, salad and fruit trays, cookies, chips, fries.....etc...etc...

You really cant beat it!
