PROS: Great Burgers & Fries, great price.

CONS: Busy during Lunch hours, (*not a con for them*). BUT NOT OPENED ON THE WEEKEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Try the homemade Onion rings! I was in heaven! The Zack special is my favoritem,howver the fish fry is the best intown!

The Scene
Zack's has been serving up burgers--and hot dogs, fried chicken and fish--since 1975, but looking around, you might swear it's been longer than that. Laminate tables and counters line the walls and windows. The paper tray liners are so old, they show Interstate 40 stopping at Raleigh. That's the kind of nostalgia Zack's offers, in addition to great food. You'll eat alongside moms with kids covered in ketchup, construction workers with two double burgers and fries each, professionals with their ties slung over their shoulders, and office park workers juggling mountain-sized bags of to-go orders.

The Food
Hey, they don't call this Zack's Burritos: Order a double cheeseburger with onion rings and a cherry Sprite. And despite what anyone says, your instinct is correct ... Cheese fries are a perfect complement to battered onion rings.

best burgers in town. try ther cheese fries they are made with cheese whiz as they should be. decor is a little to be desired but what do you ezpect from a burger joint

Worth the drive from Florida

Relocating to Florida causesus to miss our Zack's on S. Blvd.!! George, can you please overnight us some of the good stuff? We're spoiled, and even our cat is

miserable, he won't eat anyone else's trout! We're back in the area in our motor home for visit to in-laws, vet and ZACKS...burgers, fries, steak sandwich, trout, onion rings, slaw, you name it, it's worth the drive!!

Ultimate Fast Food Satisfaction

If you have an urge for that 50's type of burger joint, where you can get your weeks worth of fat calories in one sitting, then this is the place. Why eat fast food if it's P.C.? This place will give you a dripping chili-cheese burger that would make your doctor cringe, but it will put the biggest smile on your face guaranteed. Go for the Zacks Double if you dare!!!

"Goin out for a burger"

I had forgotten about the good old days until I drove up to Zack's Hamburgers. It all came back once I hit the door and stepped inside. I sat down in front of a real hamburger and drifted back to those good ole days. I listened to George talk to each customer like he knew them well and he would see them tommorrow. When I finished my Zack's Special I learned that George did know all those people well and the only thing he was puttin in the food was years of experience makin a great burger. Zacks makes a great burger and when you add the personality and fun the place has I can see why the folks keep comin back for the Zack Attack. George started out with a good thing and never changed it! Zack's has best burger in town. I'm not Kiddin' Tommy Nations acpweb.net
