Best Place to shop and buy a wedding dress

The entire staff is wonderful at J Majors. They were so helpful start to finish. Selecting the perfect gown can be a process as every bride wants that fairytale dress, the staff at J Majors takes the time to get to know you and help you select the perfect gown! I could not have been more pleased with my dress and truly felt like a fairytale princess. I also got my bridesmaids dresses there and they have the best selection of maids attire as well. Thank you to the entire staff for being such a big part of my very special day!!!!

Absolutely the best bridal salon in Charlotte

CJ and all the girls who work at J Majors really do love their work. They all know the entire stock of dresses; they know what works, what does not work. They know accessories. They are incredible ! The experience of being one of their customers' from the purchase to the fittings, to the pick up is like no other shop. They are specialists who want to know you --- We cannot say enough about CJ Majors shop ...it truly is something and J Majors has given us such wonderful memories to carry forward. Many thanks !

Beautiful Store, Unique Selection, Excellent Service

I had just moved to Charlotte and was a bride with half of my ensemble. I had the dress but did not have a veil or bridesmaid dresses. I initially went to J Major's with my mom and sister to look for bridesmaid dresses. We probably could have gotten the Wtoo dresses we chose at any bridal store but Anna Kelly at J Major's was by far the most knowledgeable and engaging bridal consultant we had encountered and we had looked at stores in New Orleans, Atlanta, and Columbia, SC. She was so knowledgeable and informative about the product (i.e., explanations of fits of dresses and cuts and styles of veils). She was extremely accommodating with fabric sample orders and shipment to my bridesmaids that were all over the country. She even invited me to bring my dress (that I had purchased elsewhere before moving to Charlotte) into their store to find a veil that would complement it perfectly. Ashley Wargo assisted us with the logistics of everything once we decided to go with J Major's for the bridesmaid dresses and my veil. She was so organized and great at keeping me informed as to when everything would arrive. We had a great experience and I would absolutely recommend J Major's to anyone shopping for anything bridal. You will definitely have a great experience!

Couldn't be Happier

I had a great experience as well at JMajor's from start to finish. The boutique is goregous, just the way a bridal boutique should be. The entire staff has been very welcoming. I worked with Shea and Anna for my first two appointments. They were very knowledgable when making suggestions regarding fit, fabric, alterations etc and kept me within my budget.

The dress arrived the week they said it would and was exactly what I expected. I couldn't be happier with my dress and the decision to purchase through JMajor's. Haven't started alterations yet, but I trust these girls.

Great Experience, Great Selection, Great Service and Staff!

When planning a wedding, one of the biggest parts for any bride is choosing her dress. J Majors made this part of my wedding experience more memorable and enjoyable than I ever expected. Just when I thought I knew exactly what I wanted, simply through browsing magazines, they opened my eyes to many options and styles that I may have never considered. I ended up going with something totally differerent than what I expected, but it was the perfect fit for me! They made me feel confident in their dresses and also gave me all the individual attention I needed. The experience was relaxed, enjoyable and memorable. I would recommend them to anyone. I drove three hours from Virginia to this boutique several time throughout my wedding planning and they always made the trip worth my time. They were promt, professional and willing to work with my schedule. If you are looking for an experience like this, J Majors is the bridal boutique for you!

Exactly what I was looking for

I was so nervous about my first dress experience. I have heard horror stories about Wedding Dress shops. However, I was completely set at ease the minute I walked in the door. I was helped by Heather who made my whole experience perfect. Walking us (mom and sister) around the store, describing each designer to us. She was so great about my mom and sister helping and always knew the perfect thing to say. All the girls in the store were nice, knowledgeable and fun. It felt like trying on dresses with a group of friends.

I never once felt pushed or awkward. The experience and staff can not be beat.

Wonderful Boutique with a Great Staff and Superior Prices!

I cannot begin to tell you how much I loved my J. Majors experience. I call it an experience because buying a wedding dress really is an experience from beginning to end. I felt that the entire staff at J. Majors stood by me from beginning to end. They always made me feel at home and the shop is beautiful and easy to navigate with dresses being grouped by designers. Everyone that I worked with was wonderful. I just can't rave about them enough. I would actually love to work there myself because I had such a positive experience, I would love to share that experience with other brides! I would suggest that all NC and SC brides check out J. Majors as I KNOW that you will be back!

Another rave review!

Everyone I came into contact with at J.Majors was fantastic. Everyone was so kind and helpful and I always felt like I was the only customer in the store. The staff always made sure that every detail was correct and when the bustle was incorrect the week before the wedding, the staff responded quickly to fix the mistake. The staff knew my face, name, dress, and veil and always greeted me with a smile. And since I planned my Charlotte wedding from New York, I especially appreciated that they returned my phone calls promptly. I loved working with J Majors!

Bad experience....

The staff and owner of J. Majors are incredibly friendly, but I felt that the current business was too much for the staff to handle. My custom dress was ordered and made incorrectly. Instead of remaking the correct dress, they attempted to alter the current dress. My dress was also shipped to the wrong bride out of state. After rounds of alterations, I took my dress to a different tailor to fix it. The person was not happy with the work that had been done on the dress, as the work was not of high quality. I don't like giving negative reviews to such friendly people, but I would be cautious when ordering a dress with J. Majors.

Best bridal boutique we've been to yet!

I can't rave enough about J Major's. Today we traveled 3 hours from Raleigh and it was way more than worth the drive!! The staff is so friendly and helpful, which seems hard to come by in the bridal shop business. The manager Shea was a dream to work with. She made sure we had everything we needed and answered all of our questions. We ended up buying two sample dresses at a discount and I couldn't be more pleased with they way they do business. You will not be disappointed!
