I took my father for a dinner out. We had been to other good resturants like Morton's and this one was verysimilar to the extent that it provided excellent service, great steaks and great cocktails. There seemed to be a little more creativity in the entrees but I wouldn't trade out one for the other. It makes a nice change to get over to Sullivans's for a change.

Dining at it's finest

It was time for our anniversary and I wanted something that would compliment our evening out. After having just recently visited Cabernet in Atlanta, and The Palm in Charlotte, I wanted another place with the same quality and atmosphere. The service is top-notch with 2 dedicated staff members to roughly 4-5 tables was incredible. The steak was honestly the best we have ever had.

Whether you are entertaining business clients or out for personal pleasure, Sullivan's is definitely the appropriate place to be.

If Sullivan's is the best steakhouse, Charlotte is in dire need of a good restaurant.

I found the prices to be overinflated, service to be average at best, and the quality of food and presentation on par with a franchise restaurant chains.

I generally go out to dinner 8-10 times per month. I have high regard for steakhouses such as The Palm, Morton's & Mickey & Mooch.

Save your money, try another restaurant.

Best Steak In a LONG Time

Having dined at Manzetti's, Morton's of Chicago, Beef 'n Bottle (what a joke), Outback, Lonestar, etc., I can say without reservation that if you want a classy night out with fantastic food, great service, wonderful ambience, and the feeling of being pampered, Sullivan's is the place.

My wife prefers "Warm to hot red center", I like "Hot pink center"; both were cooked to perfection and as flavorful as any steak I've ever eaten. The portions were not huge, but quite filling. The hardwood & leather harken to an earlier time. The ambience is wonderful and the staff all but pampered us as we sipped our after dinner coffee. If you want to put on aires, go to Morton's. If you want a classy place with fantastic steaks and great service, Go To Sullivan's.

This place is just great!

Not sure why the last couple of reviews were so poor. We went this week and the food, and service, couldn't have been better. We had steak and our friend had swordfish. We all were raving about our meals. We plan on returning soon. Much better than Capitol Grille, Palm, and Mortons.

One of the worst steaks I've ever eaten. I couldn't believe the amount of salt that was rubbed on my filet - it might as well been jerky. I've eaten at some of the best steakhouse's in america and I wouldn't recommend Sullivan's to anyone. The only thing that place has going for itself is a decent bar.

this might be the place for you but not for me

this is not a place to go and relax the service is great but that's expected with the price tag of the food. i felt uncomfortable the whole time I was in the rest. The tables are so close together there is no privacy

Very classy, wonderful date atmosphere, everything on the menu is to "die for"......NO COMPLAINTS , whatsoever
