Great service and fine selection of merchandise

The staff at The Jewelry and Watch Doctor work hard to give each customer indiviual attention and meet their individual needs. They have a fine selection of both new and estate pieces and their prices for service are more than fair. Sometimes a repair will not make sense for financial reasons but the customer wants it done for sentimental reasons. The staff at this shop treat it as being just as important as working on a Rolex.

My only suggestion for improvement is that a bigger shop is needed. Sometimes it get really crowded in this small shop.

It hasn't been all good...

I have done much business with them in the past and was very satisfied with their services. However, a recent event has forced me to consider them in a far different, and negative way. After purchasing a $600 watch from them I put money down ($50) on one of their vintage watches in the display case. They put the watch aside for me and I came back in about a week to pay off the remainder of the agreed total purchase price of $400. At that point they told me the watch wasn't running right and they would fix it. I thought, sure, makes sense they would get it running right before selling it to me, and I'm all for that. Well, it has been over a month now and still no watch.

(8/24) **** Final Resolution to this issue **** I cancelled my purchase of this watch after approximately 2 1/2 months of waiting for repairs. I found another watch for slightly more money and perfect condition. Overall, I am increasing my rating by two stars because the guys were forthcoming about the running condition of the watch and it was indeed not running correctly. They could have just sold it 'as is' but they wanted to do the right thing and try to fix it - can't find fault in that. However, they really didn't know much about these kind of watches, so they should have been more upfront about that and sent it off to someone who did know how to fix these watches to begin with. If they had done that it would be fixed by now and I would be glowingly happy.

**** I will certainly do business with them again and appreciate their efforts and honesty.

Best Jewelry Repair

I have been going to the Watch Doctor for four years now and have to say have never been disappointed in their service or pricing. They take time and genuinely care about their customers. It is a wonderful environment and am thrilled to have found them. Plus they not only take care of watches but have designed beautiful pieces from old gold that I have brought in or redesigned an old piece for me as well. I can only highly recommend them.
