Overrated and Overpriced!. This is probably one of the most overrated restaurants in Charlotte. The apps are completely over priced ($13 for 3 scallops..really?) and, honestly, not that good. Also, the servers are extremely pretentious and not engaging at all. I have been going to wine bars for my entire adult life, but this place sucks. Don't waste your time. Go to Cru Wine shop (right up the road) or anywhere else in Charlotte.

Great Wine - Original Small Plates Gem. Folks you gotta go to this place! The wine by the glass selection is outstanding and on Thursdays. it is half price bottles. The food is small plates style so you can order several plates to share and just sample until the bottle is gone.

If you are stuck on a wine to food pairing, just ask Justin and he will get you set up with something you probably not seen before but will blow you away.

Took the wife and adult kids for New Year's Eve and experienced one of their special menu nights. Really a great set up.

Jennifer was a terrific server even on a really busy night and the vibe was terrific.

Just go and enjoy yourself!

Wine/Bar selection great, Service was AWFUL!!!. A group of us decided to go out after dinner to be rudely introduced by our server. She walked away before the entire party ordered. When she finally came back with half the drinks I asked if it was ok if I ordered a drink as well.. who wants to be sitting there without a drink!! She gave me so so info on the wines I was questioning and just seemed to be in a bad mood! Throughout our time there she seemed to not have any interest in our group. While she was clearing a few empty glasses she reached over to grab another glass while the one she had in her hand spilled onto me. Whatever I dont care but at least apologize!! She looked at me like I was in her way! Get over yourself. I have been back and have had a WONDERFUL server I cant remember her name but she had long long dark hair.

Good drinks, bad service. Look, I can buy good wine and beer at a nice store and drink it at home. Why go out to do so, for the ambiance and service. Well, wine and beer selection is good, ambiance is nice, but service is soooooo bad that I have to give it 1 star. Bartenders were morons, just talked to themselves and ignored guests constantly. The worst was when a group ordered a couple of tall captain n' cokes. The so called "manager" who was a pompous prick who ignored all guests other than his buddies, poured regular size drinks, the other server says "wait they ordered tall size" so they poured the regular size drinks into tall glasses, added ice and coke to fill it, so the guests got ice coke with a splash of captain. Pathetic...will not return and will not recommend.

If I Could Only Go to One Restaurant for the Rest of My Life. This place has EVERYTHING I could ask for in a restaurant! Great food? Check! Friendly, knowledgeable staff? Check. Casually elegant atmosphere?Check. Entertaining events like wine dinners, eclectic live music, free tastings, patio parties, education events, "happy hours"? Check, check, check, check, check, check!

The wine list is remarkable. Chef Jay's food is awesome and inventive. You can eat a small plate of something fabulous or an entree of something equally good. You can order a half glass wine with one thing and a different half glass with another. You can order a flight of three wines. You can order a cheese plate or a meat plate. You can sit at a regular 2-top or 4-top, or in comfy chairs round a cocktail table. The beautiful bar is designed with angles so that you can have conversations with those around you.

Do I LOVE this place? You betcha! Should you try it? Absolutely.

A Great night out. The wild boar is a must get when you go and unlike the pervious description I found the lobster fritters to be delicious and thought the thai sweet chili sauce was a great compliment to them. We enjoyed the live music on Friday night when we were there and especially loved the great wine selection, the main reason we went! Great Job guys, we will be back soon.

Unfortunately, food not that good. The lobster fritters were indeed poor quality. It has a sweet and sour sauce on it similar to a Chinese buffet. The Mixed Greens and Tomato/Mozz salads had no taste. The Cuban sandwich was not bad, but rather average. The menu items we tried were a disappointment.

This place is exceptional.. Great and comfy outdoor lounging chairs and sofas. Never new that D'vine Wine had a wine tasting room. Fancy but not "stuffy." And, the food was really good. I had a delightful first date at D'vine Wine Cafe. I'm in love! Not so sure about the guy though!!

Eh.... Order an appetizer of Lobster, Crab, and Corn Fritters....terrible. It tasted like microwavable food. Then ordered sliders of Kobe beef, tuna, and lobster & crab. The "Kobe" beef was burnt! When you order Kobe, it should be close to rare and it was well done. It almost tasted like cheap beef. The tuna was dried and had no flavor. The lobster and crab was exactly like the appetizer.. terrible. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone as the food is below average.
