When I first went to this place over a year ago, I was excited to finally get some 'real' indo-chinese food in Charlotte, but left unimpressed. I went recently a few weeks back and I noticed a LOT of new additions to the menu. In fact the take-out menu will not even have a lot of the selections.

Mongolian Paneer is simply amazing, and its sooooooo good that although I want to venture and try at least 2 dozen other things on the menu, I seem to be drawn back to only that dish :)

  • Pros: unique dishes with a lot of twists. FRESH ingredients
  • Cons: location, if the place is full, they seem to be short on wait-staff

VERY GOOD RESTAURANT,GOOD SERVICE,INEXPENSIVE,TASTY FOOD.

LOCATION IS NOT GOOD ,SPECIALLY IF YOU HAVE KIDS.

ALSO HAD CATERING SERVICE FROM THEM ONCE FOR A PARTY OF 30.

DELIVERY OF CATERING WAS VERY GOOD,THEY CHARGED $35 FOR DELIVERY AND FOOD WAS VERY GOOD.ALL THE GUESTS LIKED THE FOOD A LOT.

  • Pros: GOOD SERVICE,TASTY FOOD,INEXPENSIVE,QUANTITY OF FOOD IS LOT!!
  • Cons: FEW CHAIRS ARE BROKEN,THEY REALLY NEED A RENOVATION!!

Food tasted more like Chinese / Asian food than Indo-Chinese. Also the service was pathetic. We had ordered for item A and were served B. When we were about to eat, it was taken away and served with item A after 5 mins! Our neighboring table too had the same thing done!!! Even after all this, the food was just blant and tasted nothing like I've had at other places. Was not happy with our first and last visit to the restaurant. Also, the restaurant says it's open on all days, but when visited on a Monday at 7.30PM, it was closed with no sign on the door!!

  • Pros: None
  • Cons: Service and food!

Forget what you know about Chinese food. This restaurant bridges the art of chinese cooking with strong Indian influences. The outcome is nothing else you'll find in the charlotte area...period! With a delightful staff that's fluently bi-lingual, friendly, and eager to serve you, your order to be perfect the 1st time everytime for those like me who prefer frequent alterating of their dishes. The chef in many instances greeted, and personally assured me my meal would be prepared as requested. (and it was!)

With a wide selection of menu choices, specials anytime of the day covering a vast price range, I manage to dine there 4-5 times weekly on my small budget. So for me, This restaurants changed my knowledge of asian dining... and it will you too-check it out!

  • Pros: Spectacular menu choices/prices
  • Cons: I see none...this establishment is a rare perfect!

There's nothing I don't like about this restaurant. It's conveniently located, easy to get to, the food is very good, their menu is diverse and the people are just great.

I used to enjoy going to one of the best kept secrets in Charlotte. it is regrettable that the main man behind its sucess, Fu, decided to sell to Francis Lin the other partner on June 26, 2007,. Since Fu has left, there has been a noticable drop in the quality, and cleanliness. The new owner just doesnt seem to care. When i talked to him, he really didnt seem to have a clue. I will no longer reccomend this restaurant to my friends, unless Fu come back in and takes back over from the current guy.

  • Pros: the chef and wait staff seem to care, but are sometimes on the rude side
  • Cons: the cleanliness, the management, and a "cheaping out on the food"

Seriously this place has something for every Asian-loving diner. It's an indo-chinese fusion menu to die for. I especially recommend the cheese appetizer-- it may seem pricier than everything else on the menu but it is worth every penny! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Also, the owner is super sweet and even gave us free dessert when we told him we had never had what was featured. Don't let the Independence Blvd location deter you from this hidden gem!

  • Pros: The food & the service
  • Cons: Location
