Worst Restaurant
by sridhar81 at Citysearch
Worst ever restaurant we visited so far in life. We went there 2 times and cheated on every visit. Menu card is totally misleading as we ordered for a VEG THALI which had coffee or Tea as a supplement along that item. When done with the main course, the waiter asked for our option on the beverages specifically asking for CHAI or COFFEE. We as every other customer was assuming that CHAI to be the part of the menu item we ordered for. Finally, we were charged extra 6 dollars for beverage . when asked for it, the waiter (Peter) atrociously replied tea which comes with THALI is a black tea AND claims its the customer's responsibility to ask for black tea or black coffee . When checked with Manager, he assured me he would discount me the extra dollars we shelled out because of his mismanagement and atrocious behaviour from the waiter. But , question is who wants to go back and get back our lost money with mere disinterest. So friends, please dont taste your Indian food in Situl restaurant,Charlotte,NC.

Situl Indian Restaurant is serving traditional, home-style Indian food.
great low key indian restaurant
by j2willi4 at Citysearch
despite a unimpressive store front in the back lot of a shopping mall... food was very very good and the service was very friendly... moderate price range... atmosphere was nothing to brag about but it was definitely all about the food.
- Pros: tastiness, friendliness
Charlotte's Best Kept Secret!
by lendmeyoureyes at Citysearch
Situl is that special, favorite place, hidden from the masses that only a select handful of dedicated restaurant explorers are privy to. I shouldn't even write this review because now I won't be able to get a seat but I'm in a rare state of benevolence so, "you're welcome!" Try the lunch buffet. Make sure you use the fresh, warm wraps to soak up the flavorful sauces. The owners genuinely care about the quality of their food and the service they provide.
- Pros: Great Food!!
- Cons: Hidden
Very good Indian cuisine

This place is hidden a bit. The food and service are very good, and portions generous.
The weekday lunch buffet gives you a variety of dishes at a reasonable price.
The depth of flavor indicates a lot of time and care go into each item.
I would recommend everything this restaurant has to offer.
