Nice Atmosphere. My girlfriend and I went here on a whim the other night. What it comes down to me is that you are paying a premium for atmosphere great service. The restaurant is a converted Victorian house in the Elizabeth neighborhood which is very nicely done.

The service is great we had a whole team of severs waiting on us hand and foot.

The food is also very good, just doesn’t quite measure up to the loft price tag.

Great place!. We were visiting Charlotte for a concert and were so happy that we stumbled across the fig tree. We were looking for a nice place to have dinner outside. Their cozy front porch was the perfect spot. The wine list, food and service were all outstanding and we will definitely return.

Editorial Review. Fig Tree Restaurant at the Lucas House gives Charlotte area residents a taste of Europe with their mouth watering French and Italian inspired dishes.

Love the food!. Me and my boyfriend ate there this past weekend and the food was fantastic. I loved the lay out of a old house turned into a fine dining resturant. Everyone was very nice but our waiter was to overbearing. Who doesn't like great sevice but who wants your waiter to be apart of your evening together? The resturant was very warm inside also. I know its fall and we have chilly nights but if its 60 degrees outside why must the heat be on 80? That made it very hard to enjoy our dinner. We asked for our food to go so we could enjoy it at home alone. If you're looking for a romantic place to go eat, don't eat at the Fig Tree unless you want your waiter there with you!

Restaurant review. This past week my husband and I had the opportunity of dining at the Fig Tree Restaurant of Charlotte. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The greeting of the hostess who efficiently directed us to our table was genuine and we felt we were in capable hands. The room reflected the beauty of an older home with the comfort of a fireplace nearby and the warmth of wood paneling as a compliment to the tastefully decorated rooms.. The service was very efficient and the servers were attentive to our every need. The food was tastefully prepared, artistically presented and the portion size was just right. All in all, we had a wonderful evening and look forward to dining there again.

Best Restaurant in Charlotte!!. From the warm and cozy ambiance to the fine tuned service you will, also, enjoy gourmet cooking at its best!! I have dined at many restaurants throughout Charlotte, and was pleased to finally find a gem like this. Everything we ate was top-notch. The lamb chops were the best I have ever had. Save room for dessert- you'll love the bread pudding.

Overpriced trap.... The decor is pleasant enough and the service is friendly and you might even enjoy the food if your palate isn't very sophisticated and if you have great memories from the food they were serving to you at school, but, if you are looking for a reasonable quality/price ratio, this is the wrong place.

You'll end up spending about $100 per person, including a couple of drinks, an appetizer and dessert for mediocre food. There are many much better options elsewhere.
