We've eaten at City Cafe a few times now, and I would say that it's just OK. The food is good but nothing special. Service is, again, good but nothing special. If you're a vegetarian or on a diet, you have very few choices for meals. It wouldn't be my first choice for dining in the Belmont/Mount Holly area.

Avoid the Tilapia!

I ate at the City Cafe tonight with my family. I ordered the blackened Tiliapia. It was horrible. I complained to the server that it tasted really salty and she stated that it was the "seasoning". It tasted like salt to me, as a matter of fact that is all I tasted! I became sick immediately upon returning home. I was very courteous to the server and the lady at the payment counter when I informed them that my meal was not to my liking and no effort was made to do a thing. I paid for the entire crappy meal. I would not recommend this establishment.
