- Cons: Slightly off the beaten path - but worth the effort
WORST EXPERIENCE

I had a problem with my transmission module. A & M put in a rebuilt one. A & M reset my engine codes. When I got the car back it ran ok but within two weeks an alarm that I never knew I had went off and I could not start my car. A & M said it was not related to the work they did -- however prior to them resetting my engine codes the alarm never went off.
Oddly, A & M did two weeks of car diagnostics on a problem they deny having created. Ultimately, I had to junk the car because it could not be fixed for less than 2,000 dollars.
I had to car towed to A & M. They worked on the car and could not repair their mistake. When I went to retrieve the car, Dutch went off on me. He would never have gone off on my fiance. . He blasted me when I had the car picked up by AAA by saying that he did not have the time for me or my car, that he had already done work for free and he had paying customers. HE SAID - NO GOOD DEED GOES UNPUNISHED. Can you believe that? He totals my car and then tells me he did a good deed because he attempted to fix it. I am not even sure he tried to put any effort or time in it at all, once he realized his mistake he talked down to me the entire time he worked on my car trying to confuse with techno mumbo jumbo. Finally, he left the car in pieces. not even bothering to put back interior panels.
My response to Dutch is his ncompetence is now my problem. I would not, will not, and could not recommend A & M to anyone.
- Pros: nothing - absolutely nothing.
- Cons: professionalism, work ethic, lack of honesty
Response from this business

There is absolutely no correlation between installation of a Transmission Control Module and the failure of a factory alarm, EVER. I offered to show Amber proof of this statement using factory wiring diagrams and Factory descriptions of the Anti -theft System Operation, but she refused. She was not interested in evidence, reason or truth. She needed someone to blame so she wouldn't have to face an unpleasant reality: she needed a new car . Here's an appropriate analogy: Imagine going for a haircut and nearly three weeks later waking up with a toothache. Is it okay to blame the barber since he was the last person to touch your head? No? Kind of irresponsible isn't it? This review is nothing more than the angry, frustrated response of an immature, petulant, vindictive young woman who refuses to accept this simple truth: that her car was 14 years old with over 120k miles on the odometer and some components simply reached the end of their service life. No conspiracy, just age and wear.
Great alternative to the chains.

Owner takes time to educate you on your problem and offers repair options. They understand the benefits of repeat business. They even offer a shop warranty beyond the parts warranties. Not many places do that.
- Pros: Honest and fair. Integrety.
