Can't beat Dr. P
by coach2878
After not having much luck finding a good chiropractor in Charlotte and the Ballantyne area, I finally scored with Dr. Tony Peters. If you're looking for a quick snap, crackle and pop, then Dr. Peters isn't for you. I have disc problems in my lower back but like to stay pretty active with golf and basketball. Unfortunately, I have been limited at times with my mobility and flexibility in recent years. However, Dr. Peters has isolated my problem, gotten down to the root of my pain and helped me stay active with very little discomfort. I definitely recommend Dr. Peters and think he is no doubt, the best in town!
- Pros: Finally!!!! A real AND good chiropracter in CLT.
- Cons: Wish he were in Ballantyne
A Chiropractor you can trust
by infuscharlotte
When it comes to chiropractic care, Dr. Tony Peters is the best in town. As a fellow health care practitioner with a reputation of over 6 years of work, Tony is the only chiropractic physician I refer my clients to. His ability to achieve results and work with precision is above the rest. Not only that, but his reputation for honesty, compassion, and knowledge of the work exceed him. If you looking for quality chiropractor, look no further than Tony Peters!
- Pros: Best Chiropractor in town!
Loved it, but man 30% increase?!?

After trying a massage at Dr. Peter's location I was thoroughly happy after branching out from my massage therapist of three years. I am very picky about my massage therapist. I paid the $49 for the deep tissue session. Erica was my therapist and I have no complaints whatsoever with the service received. I tipped $20 at my usual rate.
As soon as I left I was ready to return for my next visit. When I called back to schedule the session I was stopped from hanging up at the end of the call by the statement that the $49 "special" was over. I was SHOCKED that the price had raised 30% to $70. I wasn't aware that the price was a special. For years and years I have used the cleaners next door and noticed that the price for massage was$49.
I really like using the service there and had to break the news to my current therapist that I wouldn't be returning having found a new home. Now I have to make the call to beg to get back into her schedule. Perhaps after flowers and loads of grovelling she will forgive me. I had brought five people to my current therapist and had already started telling them to try out Dr. Peter's massage services. After notifying them about the call I just made, they've definitely concurred with my decision as well. Luckily they haven't scheduled their session yet.
Both my current Spa/Therapist and Dr. Peter's location are comparable in service and reputability. As I said I am very pick being a referee that my therapist be very good at the trade. I definitely depend on the therapeutic value of my massage therapy. The service again was great and I have no complaints, but this kind of jump in price for me isn't tolerable to my wallet. The last time I had to pay this much for a massage was at Voci Spa and the session was horrible and what I consider fru-fru.
- Pros: I couldn't complain at all about the service. On time, organized, prepared.
- Cons: The price is too high
Personable Holistic Caring Chiropractor
by sunli9
I had gone to previous chiropractors and was skeptical of their care. A friend of mine who is a massage therapist recommended Dr. Peters to me saying he was very holistic. That was the primary issue with the previous chiropractors who seemed more into manipulations and physical therapy like treatments. I also went to physical therapy which is limited in what it can achieve. I had serious lower back pain from a recent injury that aggravated a previous hip and knee pain from which I needed serious relief as it was chronic. I went to Dr. Peters and was immediately impressed with how personable he was and caring about my ailments. He took the time to fully assess my condition and recommended a treatment plan to let me know what to expect. His combination of care practices goes beyond just chiropractic and effectively treats your body as a whole. After being in his care for four months along with other types of therapy my pain has been greatly reduced and I feel practically whole again! He also recommends other types of therapies in conjunction to his practice that were helpful too. I highly recommend Dr. Peters as a chiropractor who goes beyond just the normal chiropractic care and who strives to keep current with the latest therapies out there.
- Pros: Holistic, Caring, Personable, Knowledgeable
Caring, compassionate, honest and excellent

If there's a way to describe Dr. Peters, it's all those above. Dr. Peters takes time to 1) listen, 2) develop a systematic approach, 3) apply that approach and 4) care about your well being beyond pain. He constantly is up to date on the latest approaches. I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Peters and would send my family to him without any reservation because there's no doubt he would take excellent care of them all. If you need a chiropractor, do not hesitate to visit Dr. Peters' office.
- Pros: Great doctor, excellent care
- Cons: none...he's worth $10 per gallon gas to go see.

Best chiropractor and staff in Charlotte.........

I found Dr. Tony and Jan through a friend and have been going for the past two years. They are wonderful. They offer so much mor than just basic chiro care. From the painful massage (which is well worth it by the way) to the yoga type exercises afterwards you leave feeling refreshed and new.... I recommend them to anyone call today..............
Very Limited Chiropactor
by chiropatient
Dr. Peters is a decent general chiropractor as he does not employ any modern day techniques such as X Rays and other chiropractic related treatments such as spinal decompression that would be beneficial to so many people. There is no structured program in place either and as such I would only recommend for basic pains but you will not be able to effectively identify a underlying root cause of your problems at his clinic.
- Pros: Personable
- Cons: Avoidance of available technology = Improper diagnosis
Best Chiropractor in Charlotte!
by BethH1
I've suffered from neck and lower back pain since college. Any time I was under stress the mobility in my neck became so bad I had trouble with normal tasks such as driving, working, or just playing with my kids. The kicker was when I started having trouble standing straight up after sitting for any length of time - I'm 41 years old and had to walk hunched over holding my lower back like an old lady!
There are tons of Chiropractors in Charlotte and everyone had a different opinion so I decided to try my luck online - I actually found Dr. Peters on Citysearch and booked an appointment based on all the great reviews. Jan was able to work me in the next day and checked my insurance to be sure the appointments were covered before I arrived.
I've been a patient of Dr. Peters for approximately 2 months now and my pain is GONE! I started feeling relief after the first visit and the improvement in my mobility is truely amazing - I"m not an old lady anymore!
The appointments are longer than most Chiropractors - anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour - but the results are worth the time investment. In addition, Dr. Peters showed me exercises to loosen my back and neck.
Dr. Peters also offers other services such as acupuncture and detoxing, and the environment in the office is casual and extremely positive. I highly recommend Dr. Peters - I wish I had gone to him years ago!
- Pros: Relief after first visit
- Cons: Appointments take longer but well worth it!
THE BEST

I saw Tony over a year ago for migraines and let me tell you, I never for one second thought a chiropractor could help me and I couldn't have been more wrong. I was blown away by how wonderful I felt after, even months after. He is professional, he is personable, funny and really cares about your well being. I will NEVER go anywhere else. I even tried foot detox for the first time there and it was quite the experience. I'm going to start making it a regular thing. I even have my fiance going for the foot detox. Its amazing. Tony isn't just a chiropractor but he becomes a friend. His assistant Jan is amazing also. She welcomes you like she has known you for years. I LOVE IT! The atmosphere is open, music is going, lighting is toned down, pretty much all lighting from outside, it just feels good.
If you have something bothering you, from migraines to back ache, to muscle soreness....Dr. Tony Peter's is the MAN!
- Pros: Wonderful team, very personable/friendly, love the music, the atmosphere, great with kids
- Cons: Only con is I can't go everyday :( I wish I could! Its amazing.
