Rustic accommodations on a beautiful golf course!

A casual yet sophisticated retreat atmosphere reminiscent of a North Carolina Mountain style hunting lodge. Many of the furnishings were hand crafted by famous NC furniture artisans. Antiques and paintings from around the world were also incorporated to accent the Lodges stately appearance. It has vaulted ceilings, loft game area with chess and a charming antique snooker table, lower level stone patio, rocking-chair front porch. The spacious guest rooms have jetted baths, dual vanities and many of these rooms feature a private balcony or patio.
- Pros: a rustic feel for that board meeting or team building session
- Cons: There are none

I cannot say enough good things about the Spa at Ballantyne. The facilities are gorgeous, staff is friendly and helpful, and locker rooms are extensive. This is a world class spa. Prices are great for the atmoshere and level of service you receive. They offer great packages for couples or a Girls Day Out. The range of services they offer is extensive. I would highly recommend this spa to any of my friends.

Ballantyne is a breathtaking resort with an incredible staff who all truly enjoyed their jobs. They offer specialty packages for one or two nights stay that target Girls Nights Out, frequent Travelers, couples looking to get away for a night, etc. The spa is a soothing indulgence and the locker rooms are stunning. The food was like nothing I have ever had and thankfully came in reasonable portions. It has everything a local destination spa should have and more.
PROS: Staff, Spa, Food, Location, Rooms
CONS: I can't go every month.
