Very bad experience.

Had dinner there, came in at 9:00 pm, ordered 2 full entrees and a bottle of wine. At 10:00 pm, we were 1/2 way through our wine and were approached by the hostess asking if we were going to pay by cash or check. Then the waitress starts clearing our table and leaves the check...we're still eating mind you. At 10:10 pm...she comes back and literally asks us to leave because they need to close and they have been waiting on us to finish. I have worked in restaurants before and when the hours say till 10 pm, that usually means they seat until 10pm. They were sweeping, turning off lights and closing out the till at 10 PM on the nose. It was rude, embarrassing and I will never go back. I would suggest you do the same.

• Pros: It's a shame their food is so good...won't ever go back.
• Cons: When they say they close at 10:00 pm, THEY MEAN IT

Great for Dine In/Take Out

This is my Chinese Restaurant...I love it. I order in/I take out, I call in...I've never had a problem since they opened...never. The food is fresh the staff is friendly and accommodating. Wonderful place. I'm so glad it's only one mile away.

Great standby chinese place, fresh food

I've been going to this place for a couple years now strictly for take out. I've never had any issues with my orders but I do have them repeat it back to me on the phone. Its always ready quickly and the food is fresh. The sauces are basic and the menu is your normal chinese american but its a great sort of old standby neighborhood chinese place.

• Pros: good prices, good food
• Cons: pretty straight forward food, nothing out of the ordinary

OK food... Bad Take Out

I've gotten take out from Dragon Fly a couple times. The food is ok... never bad, but not as good as Taipei Express. Also, they screwed up our order. If you get take out, make sure you check the bag. I ordered brown rice, I got white rice. I ordered an egg roll and they forgot it.

I'm not going back again.

• Cons: Bad Take Out Service. They don't listen.

Support Small Business

This is a great little neighborhood restaurant. The food is normal american chinese. The best items on the menu are the Scallion Pancakes and the Shrimp Lettuce Wraps. It makes the trip worth while. They play crazy muzak, but other than that the atmosphere is lovely. Much better to go to Dragon Fly than go to a two hour wait at the more popular places.

Excellent food

The foood is always correctly prepared, seems fresh and tastes good. Better than usual selection amount the other upscale spots and some unique presentations and combinations.
