Best Hair Salon ever !!

Mocha did my hair once but she really did not know what service was. However, Giovanni did my hair the second time and he was awesome! Not sure what the last person was complaining about; it was probably Mocha herself..I heard she was fired. Customer sevice has always been top notch at Hair Uno. I have been going there for the past 10 years. I will never consider another hair salon ever. Thanks to everyone. Love you guys.

Wonderful Service Wedding Party of 23 !!

Hair Uno Inc did an incredible job on my entire wedding party ! Did I mention I had a wedding party of 23!!! Between Luis, Giovanni, Blanca and Becky they did my grooms until 11pm on Friday night and then the bridesmaids the entire morning of Saturday. The service was incredible. Thanks so much guys.

I love Giovanni

I have read the reviews before mine and have to say that they are not true.

I started going to Giovanni after a certain person (who wll remain nameless) messed up my hair. Giovanni brought my hair back to life, was friendly, prodessional, and always very positive. He made me feel better after that no name person totally ruined my hair. I have need experienced anyone being negative at the salon...I always received a reminder call about my appts, greeted when I walked in (from day one) and I am a black female and I have NEVER heard anyone say anything negative about women of color (liked previously posted. I have always been treated with respect from everyone in the salon. I don't know about all the back in forth with the Mocha incident nor do I care, but it just seems that people are not being honest and trying to hurt people reputations on this board. I say with ANYTHING experience it for yourself and not through others..I hope this helps!!

he & his daughter are tha best people i know!!!i had tha best golden highlights& were amazing.IDK why all you ppls think their bad thier going by YOUR instructions&description.udont give them ALL tha details its ur fault they mess yo head up!!! ITS NOT THEIR FAULT ?!?!?!

The Obvious Truth

Im only observing, but it seems as if this whole "Mocha" herself and her clients is a litl too much for the topic. Obviously she has her hand in recomending herself and her new salon on this post by either making up her own user profiles or telling others to bash people. And also if you notice, no one else is bashing anyone elses repetouir except her and her posse. But hey Im just mentioning the obvious. Im sure both salons are great. I think I have passed by both salons and i can say this: they both have a great ethnic diversity of clients and seem like real nice places. My recomendation would be for everyone to play nice and just stick to ur favorite stylist. You all are going to the people you like for a reason and not everyone has the same likes and dislikes. Grow Up.

Hair Uno is lifeless

Its unfortunate that this board is being used to bash a great stylist. Mocha no longer works at Hair Uno NO SHE WAS NOT FIRED . Its sad that the garbage that still works at this horrible salon finds it necessary to come on this board and bash someone that LEFT this establishment a long time ago. Mocha was not fired from Hair Loser, there are better opportunities beyond their narrow minded location. I was a client there for sometime before Mocha came there and I have worked with Giovani, Blanca, and Mocha. Unfortunately Giovani was having his usual mood swings, so after that horrible experience wth him I tried Blance who gave me an ok experience.. After looking at Mochas work for some time I tried her and I am still a client of hers. She always has a positive attitude and my hair is very healthy.

Hair Uno Is Horrible

Hair Uno is one of the worst Salons in Charlotte, I would never step foot in that Salon. Immediately when you walk in the Salon Giovanni has a horrible attitude. I have never experienced such a horrible attitude but when you meet Giovanni customer service goes right out of the window. I have asked numerous women about their experience with them after mine and I have heard so many horrible things. I have heard that the Biolage bottles are filled with Palmolive, Yes Dish Detergent. I had one friend that went there and overheard them say evil comments about African Americans even though African Americans bring their hard earned cash to their establishment. This is one of the worst Salons I do not reccomend them at all

HORRIBLE Experience w/Blanca!

The only experience I have had is with Blanca. The first 2 visits - I had a great haircut. The 3rd visit - Blanca cut my hair using her "vision" - not exactly what I wanted. I tried to work with the cut for several days. When I went back to see if she could take a few extra snips so the cut would style a bit better - Blanca quickly became a very rude and argumentative person. She is truly a Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde. I was caught off guard at her behavior. She caused a scene. (Its not like I did not call ahead and schedule an appt.) Only after getting one of her co-workers involved did she finally relent - begrudgingly. The few snips that she did with the scissors took less than 3 minutes - but she argued MUCH longer than that. The cut is fine, now - but - I would never recommend her to anyone. Was she having a bad day before my arrival? I don't know - but she lost a customer AND referrals. If you go to Blanca for a cut - go at your own risk - she is a ticking time bomb!

rude customer service

I didn't make it past the front door without the lady snapping an attitude. She was trying to practically trying to smother me in a smock before I could even tell her what I wanted done. When I asked the lady how much it would cost she got angry, I will never go back again. I like Fossil, been going there for 3 years. I just thought I would stop in to see if they were cheaper but I never got to find out and frankly after now I dont care.

Blanca is amazing!

I just read the reviews about Fossil Salon and Spa and hands down they are NOT BETTER than Hair Uno. I have been there before and if you consider your hairdresser telling you that the haircut you have right now is great, admires how the layering was cut and is hesitant to proceed...how is that better than Hair Uno where I got it? I used to randomly go to different hairstylists because of my schedule. But after that experience and realizing that everytime I got my hair done at Hair Uno I never left with that "eh..." feeling, I am now a loyal customer. Mocha probably left Hair Uno because Blanca and Giovani are just that good. Too much competetion. Once you have your hair done with one of them, you won't want your hair touched by another sylist. Blanca is a PERFECTIONIST! She takes her time and will tell you what's in style to keep you up to date with the latest fashion trends. She's great at coloring too! DON'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE! Ask for Blanca and if you can't squeeze in an appointment with her, go to Giovani. You won't be dissapointed. This is coming from someone that is OCD about their hair.
