This restaurant is a joke. The food is nowhere close to the ones in FL. I am not sure these guys even know how south indian should taste like. The service is indifferent and borders on being insolent. This certainly ranks as one of the worst Indian restaurants in Charlotte.

Lunch buffet on Sunday is a great way to try out many of the dishes. Our favorites are the masala dosa and the Dal Makhani

I love Woodlands, the service is great, and the food is even better!I love everything I've tried and I always look forward to getting something new,and now with the organic menu you can't go wrong! The Palak Paneer is my all time favorite Indian food but out of all the restaurants I've been to they make the best. Iwish them great success they are very nice people!
- Pros: great food
- Cons: sometimes it's busy but the food is well worth it!

EXTREMELY RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!
by rickytesh
Absolutely HORRIBLE treatment. My uncle/aunt and parents travelled 2.5 hrs to visit and eat at this restaurant. We went during a buffet time and my uncle asked about the sambar on the bar being a bit like dhaal rather than sambar and inquired if there was any other sambar he'd gladly pay for off the menu. (it was watered down) The owner/manager told us in a horribly rude tone/manner that it was the ONLY sambar they'd been serving for 5 years and asked when the last time my uncle had eaten there. He said maybe a year, to which the manager said 'if you've not eaten sambar in a year how can you tell me what it tastes like!'.
ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE. NO CUSTOMER SHOULD BE TREATED THIS WAY.
- Pros: non-buffet food was decent in the past
- Cons: do not expect to be treated like a paying customer
