Below Mediocre
by foodiegirl123
The only complaint I have about this restaurant is the food. I ordered the cheese tortellini and my husband ordered the filet; the only steak on the menu. My tortellini was mediocre at best until I found a piece of what looked like plastic wrap in it. My husband's steak was cooked medium as asked but without any seasoning. No salt no...anything. He gave his fork back when he was finished with his salad, when he asked for a replacement he was given a fork with blue icing on it. Both complaints were taken care of; his fork was replaced and my dish was taken off of our bill. The service was good, the prices were reasonable but the food was horrible. Definitely not worth paying for; I could have made better food at home.
- Pros: Prices
- Cons: Food is not very good.
love it for many reasons

great quiche and salads, open airy atmosphere, great service, always nice to our kids. Can dress casual or dress up and still feel comfortable. To the person who did not like the food, try it again, maybe they were just off that day.You are really missing out if you do not try Trios.
- Pros: good parking and wonderful service an atmosphere
- Cons: too far from our house !!!!
Great eclectic food

We have gone many times and never been disappointed. We especially love the brick oven trio appetiser. Both fish and beef dishes are fantastic. The atmosphere is also very casual but elegant.
Awful!

Just tried Trio out for the first time. It's terrible. The food is bland, improperly prepared, and low quality. I couldn't even finish my meal.
- Pros: Nice looking restaurant
- Cons: Terrible food!
Yummy!

Trio is great! They have great service, good food, and a comfy atmosphere. Our food was served quickly, but we didn't feel rushed. Their brick-oven pizzas have a lot of funky combinations like shrimp and crabmeat. Their ice cream and desserts are made in house, and their prices aren't bed either!!
- Pros: Service, Atmosphere, Prices
Bright and airy, with an appealing menu that stands out from the surrounding chain restaurants.

The Scene
Light, soaring walls accented by tiny lights and huge trees make Trio feel much larger than it appears from the outside. Good thing, because huge crowds flock here at lunch and on weekend nights. Inside, tables and booths in jewel tones add a warm playfulness. Meals are artfully presented (and reasonably priced) combinations of colors and textures.
The Food
The menu is varied with worldwide influences, making this a great place for groups of people with varying tastes. Brick-oven pizzas, pastas, salads and sandwiches are offered, and entrees include favorites such as pork tenderloin, grilled lamb sirloin and blackened grouper. You won't go wrong with the filet mignon (served in two five-ounce portions), and the roasted corn jalapeno crab cakes. Trio's signature soup, mulligatawny, proved to be perfectly curried, but too much of it won't leave room for the delightful North Carolina sweet potato chips topped with melted Stilton cheese, so pace yourself.
