What happen to the chef who does the best sushi here? I was really dissapointed about my order! it was not the same, I always order my favorite D&D roll , Sashimi platter and Ceviche, and now everything change, ther flavor and the sauces are not the same I am not coming back anymore for sushi only for the wines. This is not good! They should do something about this.

Best Sushi in Charlotte at the Wine Room
by petrosky
Local sushi company Hissho Sushi and Cy Santos have created the most authentic and upscale sushi in Charlotte at the Dean & Deluca Wine Room. Cy will prepare whatever you want and is extremely knowledgable.
Try anything, it is all great and gives Charlotte 'Nobu' sushi without the 'Nobu' prices.
- Pros: Sushi, atmosphere
- Cons: None
Make Bacchus proud at this casually elegant Southpark pleasure.

The Scene
Set amid the swanky, upscale shops and restaurants in Phillips Place, Dean & Deluca's only wine bar draws aficionados and novices alike. After you wear yourself out shopping, treat yourself to a fine Viognier, or stop in after dinner with a date for an evening of cool jazz. Outside, the patio is lovely; inside you'll find a deluxe contemporary space, with high ceilings, polished wood and comfortable lighting.
The Draw
More than 50 wines are offered, in a two-ounce taste, a six-ounce glass or the popular wine flight, which is a sampler of three varieties of wine. Servers go out of their way to help with wine selections, without offering up an elitist attitude. Note that Dean & Deluca's boasts the largest collection of California wines in the Queen City. For the hungry, there are light appetizers such as salmon, cheese and salads.
