Weekends are not a good time to visit

by Parbqt at Citysearch

Crime at this place is terrible! This whole area has succumbed at the hands of young thugs. If you plan a visit to this place try visiting of a day when most thugs are still asleep in bed. Weekend evenings are the worst! This place has lots to offer in the way of shopping and dining....however, the whole experience is somewhat stressful when you have to feel like you are being targeted everytime you walk from your car or stop to look at something while shopping. Literally, you need your hand in your pocket holding your wallet or your purse strap wraped over your head and your hand on holding it! Too bad....cause it's a really cool place toher than the crime.

  • Pros: Lots of food and shopping
  • Cons: Crime

Charlotte's largest mall promises to satisfy all your shopping, eating and movie-watching needs.

by Contributor at Citysearch

In Short
The mall has eight entrances, each representing a different local theme--one is basketball-oriented while another screams NASCAR. Staples include Bed, Bath and Beyond, Athlete's Foot and a Tommy Hilfiger store. But it's the specialty shops and entertainment spots that make the mall. For instance, you can pick up a pocket-sized New Testament at Bible Factory Outlet, trade Pokemon cards at TOYCO and grab a bite to eat and catch a game of Golden Tee at Jillian's.

Small Town Shopping Discover

by sharongrandberry_burton at Citysearch

My man and I weren't extremely impressed with the Concord Mills store. For the record, these stores have been popping up around several towns lately. Atlanta has Discovery Mills and Nashville has Opry Mills. They all look alike. The best part was the Saks store. In Atlanta, we like Saks Fifth Ave. It was good to see a local favorite out of town. Overall there were some hot spots that the store has to offer, but not enough to make either of us come back again. They need to add more variety. Store hours were good. (9:30 vs. 9:00) For Charlotte, this is a great attraction for the small town feel. We prefer the Atlanta shopping experience.

One of the best malls!

by keatonbri at Citysearch

This place has every type of store one could dream of. It is a tourist trap, so be alerted, but it is a huge mall. The prices were great and the salespeople were friendly. You need to check this mall out if you are in or around Charlotte.
