Rudest experience Ive ever had at a restaurant. I am not hard to please and never written about a different place on one of these sites. Went there with a coworker and her husband. At one point we were sitting in an area over near the edge of the patio for the view. An extremely rude waitress came over and basically yelled at us that we had to move so that waiters could get thru easily (we didnt see any server pass thru the area the rest of the night). Then with a minute a bartender came over and yelled at my coworker for having taken a chair from the bar (which one person was sitting at). It wasnt even the fact that they were rude enough to do this, it was the extremely confrontational way that they did it. We were shocked. The waittress even pointed to a poorly painted sign in the area which read "no hairs" and said "see -the sign says no chairs." I paid my tab shortly arterward and pointed out where I had written "no tip." The food was also medicore. Also, most of the other patrons out there were in their 40's and 50's and looked very redneck. Not the place to go for the armosphere. The only good thing was the view of the water. I recommend Wild wings at Ayrsely shopping center or MACS on S. Tryon.

Worst Dinner Ever. My husband and I ate there Saturday night. First of all the waitress was terrible. The only place I ever ate a warm salad. If you wanted cheese, onions or any thing other then cucumber or tomato you had to pay $.50 extra for each item. The $22.00 ribeye was worst than a $3.00 piece of sirloin. The creamy blackened pasta was nothing but a few pieces of prime rib with noodles and plenty of grease, this was by far the worst meal I have ever had and it was over $50.00. Do not waste your money.

Bad Reviews, Great Place. My boyfriend and I decided to go here for our anniversary. We thought about going somewhere else since we read these horrible reviews but we gave it a shot anyway. Our waitress was wonderful, the food was delicious and the scenery was great. We had a table inside looking out on the lake. My boyfriend ordered the Chicken Pesto pizza, and they forgot the chicken, but the manager Dave came by and took care of it right away. We enjoyed this restaraunt and will def. be returning!

Terrible Food. This went beyond "not good" right to bad! From the limp, lukewarm salad, to the instant mashed potatoes the food was terrible, and the service was not good. Steak was tough and overcooked, pasta was close to inedible, the fish was frozen, the bread was awful. I can only imagine this place stays in business because patrons are drinking enough to forget about the food!

great atmosphere. This is a great place to go in the spring/summer and hang out on the porch. I don't go for the food, or for the service, speedy is not their thing. The scenery can't be beat. It is fun for a laidback afternoon or happy hour.

Very poor food and service. T-Bones has really gone down hill the past few years with the food and service. I went there a few months ago with my spouse and stepchildren and were not impressed at all, after not going for a couple years. Food was bad, portions were small, no flavor, expensive prices, lazy service, ouch!! I was thinking a couple years ago we went on an off night, but apparantly not. Also, a friend of mine got kicked out of the restaurant by the owner last week for buying VIRGIN strawberry daiquaries for his daughter and her friend at the bar and went back to his table with his group. The owner, who did not have a name tag or even introduced himself as the owner to my friend asked him if there was alcohol in those drinks and he said no. Also, my friend thought that the owner was going to flirt on his daughter. Very unprofessional. Of course my friend got a little mouthy and concerned. If the owner would have introduced himself FIRST and said who he was, none of this would have happened. I have had other friends state it hasn't been good the past couple of years or so either.

It needed ketchup and is pricey for what you get. I thought that the atmossphere was kinda cool till I got my food... The steak was like leather it was small and lacked any real taste. The staff took 15 minutes to bring me ketchup for my fries and when I asked for another beer the waiter didn't bring it back till my meal was over.

T-Bones is overrated!. I went to T-Bones about 3 weeks ago, after a friend of mine told my fiancè and I that T-Bones was "awesome" and that we HAD to check it out. It was terrible! As soon as I opened the menu, clearly everything I saw was overpriced. $20 for a tiny steak filet! I had a question about a certain kind of wine they had, and he knew zilch about what was on the wine list, even the hostess. Unbelievable. The service we recieved was far below average. When we went, it was not busy yet, and it took forever for our food to come. Our steaks that we ordered were cooked perfectly, but it had absolutely NO flavor. I don't know if it was an off-night for the cook, but it did not meet our expectations. Try Outback Steakhouse instead....where their food is reasonably priced AND it tastes good.

Don't say you weren't warned: This lakefront eatery boasts that "the catch of the day is cow.". The Scene
Ladies who lunch (and therefore, margarita); guys who look like they just stepped off a golf course--or a pontoon boat--frequent this casual waterfront restaurant. Diners get a great view of incoming boaters, some waterfowl and fish, and former Charlotte Hornet Larry Johnson's mansion.

The Food
With a name like T-Bones, the special has got to be steak. Filets, strips, rib-eyes and T-bones highlight the menu, but there's also ribs and Texas-style (no beans) chili. Combos are available for folks who can't make up their mind. For diners not of the Lone Star steak persuasion, there's shrimp, fajitas, burgers, chicken, sandwiches and pastas. Those with lighter appetites might opt for an appetizer or two: ribs, wings, shrimp, or an S.O.B. (South of the Border) pizza.
