Pete Acree - Super Service Advisor. Pete Acree has been my service advisor at Scott Clark for many years. I always recommend Pete to my friends who have Toyotas. He is very dedicated to his customers and always looks out for their best interests. I sent a friend of mine from Belmont to see Pete about service on her Nissan. She was so impressed when it was time to purchase a new car, she called Pete to set her up with a sales advisor. She purchased the same day. I trust Pete to make sure both of my cars are reliable and safe for my wife and my grandchildren.
Best Dealership and Service Department!. I have purchased three cars from Scott Clark Toyota in the last ten years. I would never dream of going anywhere else. It wasn't time for a new car but my service advisor Pete Acree called me in November and told me it would be a great time to get the Highlander I wanted. He has been my service advisor for many years and he knew that I wanted a Highlander Limited. I called the dealership first and told them what I wanted. I gave the color and all the features. They did not have the car in stock but Pete told me they would find one. They did. It was driven from one dealership out of town to Scott Clark the same day. I got a great deal. Thanks to Scott Clark for having the new owners dinner last month. I enjoyed it and the door prize I won. No other dealership I have worked with has had a dinner for new owners to show their appreciation.
Awesome service department!. No one likes getting their car serviced, however at Scott Clark it's like seeing old friends. I travel a lot so I have had the pleasure of getting to know Pete Acree very well. Not only is he always friendly and gracious but he's truly interested in how you (the person) and your automobile is doing. He takes a personal interest in his clients and wants to ensure they are happy. Pete and I started our relationship back in 2009 and it has been great. He knows me on site and verifies what service is needed and wants to know if there is anything else they should look into while it's in service. He lets me know how long it should take and always explains my options prior to doing any unscheduled work. He is the reason we decided to purchase our new Totoyta from Scott Clark. I know they have great sales people at Scott Clark, as well as Financing, etc but service is truly where it will make or break a business-Scott Clark has some great people working for him. Thank you for caring enough to let them focus on the customer and not just the bottom line.

Great Dealership. I have purchased several vehicles from Scott Clark Toyota over the past few years and have always had a great experience. The service dept is top notch and I love my service writer, Archie Newton. He is always very professional and extremely polite. Thanks for all that you do!!
Fantastic Sales Force. I bought a 2012 Toyota Highlander from Travis Wilson at Scott Clark Toyota at the very end of 2011. He was instrumental in finding the specific vehicle I was looking for on short notice with very limited national supply. The local dealer in Augusta couldn't find one for me, so I called Scott Clark Toyota. Both Travis Wilson and Bill Patterson were extremely helpful and found one coming over on the boat within 4hrs of my phone call with the exact specifications I was looking for. Travis has also been extremely helpful for the few calls I've made back since purchase with regards to basic car functionality and features. - David
Amazing Service A !!. The 3 gentlemen, Robert, Daniel & Peter that worked with me at Scott Clark's Toyota have totally changed my opinion of salesman at car dealerships & I can honestly say I will probably never buy a car from anywhere else again. Having worked in retail, I know the importance of GREAT customer service and the service I received at Scott Clark Toyota was above & beyond. It was such a relief to feel like someone is genuinely more concerned with my needs as a buyer than their needs as the seller to just make a sale. Robert contacted me shortly after an interest survey I completed on the internet and spoke with my boyfriend. I am usually extremely busy so I typed in my boyfriend’s cell number on accident and it was probably one of my best mistakes to date because it was his opinion and communication with Robert that was the deciding factor in my trip to Scott Clark Toyota. Knowing my opinions on car dealerships my boyfriend told me that in the little time he spoke with Robert he did not get the impression that he was the typical car salesman. He said that Robert sounded determined to get me exactly what I wanted & needed and never sounded pushy or overwhelming. So I decided to take a trip to Scott Clark Toyota and meet Robert just to see if he could work anything out. I currently had a Mazda 3 that's engine had......well let's just say “quit on me”. I had some negative to get rid of and a lot of other dealers did not seem optimistic about this or they wanted me to walk out with a payment higher than I felt comfortable with. When I arrived Robert was friendly, informative and honestly inquisitive to my needs and wants in my purchase. He made us feel like welcomed guests at a friends home by giving us the “lay of the land”. He then introduced my boyfriend and me to Mr. Daniel Decicco. From the gate Daniel was not the average Customer Service Rep. He was personable, friendly & genuine. He didn't jump straight to a sales pitch he asked about me, my wants & needs in a car and what my terms were. We looked at the Toyota Corolla S's that they had on the lot and then Daniel asked if I'd like to test drive one. My biggest no-no at a dealer is driving the car because I am then extremely upset if it doesn’t work out and I don’t take that car home. When I told Daniel this he assured me this would not be the case. So after some contemplation I decided to take the test drive. Of course I was hooked. I loved the Corolla. It drove great, was the perfect size and had great gas mileage. Daniel then work with me to get the best deal with the terms I was comfortable with. I didn’t feel pushed into a decision or overwhelmed with information that didn’t pertain to me and my purchase. After Daniel presented me with the terms I wanted he informed me that I was taking the Corolla home that day, no test drive disappointment! I was then introduced to Finance Manager Peter Moreno who was the perfect ending to my customer experience. He explained everything to me in terms I understood and made sure I left with the knowledge and coverage I needed. Now, anyone who knows me finds it hard to believe that I would “ENJOY” my time at a dealership; however Scott Clark Toyota has made a believer out of me yet!! I am unbelievable happy with my purchase & my customer experience. I have told all of my family & friends that the only place they should buy from is Scott Clark Toyota and I gladly stick by my word!! Thanks again Robert, Daniel and Peter for all your help!!
I had recently been involved in an accident, and my insurance company totaled my vehicle. I was waiting for a settlement check to arrive, but I had to do some car shopping. Because of the amount of driving I do, I was interested in a Toyota Prius.
I began by surfing the web, and based on a friend's experience, checked out Scott Clark's Toyota. I saw some vehicles I was interested in and sent a query to them. Robert Van Alstyne replied to my email within 10 minutes or so. I decided to go visit the dealership on Sunday.
I met Robert and was immediately impressed with his knowledge and sincerity. He was not a stereotypical salesman just trying to make a sale. He listened to me and found several previously-owned vehicles to consider. I took a test drive and was impressed by Robert's ability to answer my questions. At no time did I feel pressured. If Robert didn't have a clear answer for a question, he found others to give me the answers I needed.
After considering my options, I decided to purchase a new Prius instead. Robert found just the vehicle for my wife and me to consider, and took another test drive, this time with my wife at the wheel. We were sold!
Robert obtained favorable financing for us, and we worked with Tony in the Financing department to close the deal. I still did not have my settlement check, and there was no problem. I literally walked out of the dealership with a new car, and dropped off the down-payment check two days later.
I have already decided that my next vehicle will come from Scott Clark's Toyota.
Travis Wilson at Scott Clark's Toyota was the best. Scott Clark Toyota was great to work with. Travis Wilson was our salesperson and I would recommend him to anyone looking for a vehicle. He is honest, not pushy, and cares about us. He called me after the purchase to make sure everything was great and to thank me for my business. Make sure you ask for Travis Wilson when you go to Scott Clark Toyota off hwy 74.
My first great car buying experience!. I live Columbia SC and was looking to trade mine and my wife's cars. I had been given the typical run around from some local dealers and so I decided to look online. I found Scott Clark's Toyota and sent an inquiring email at 8:30pm. Within ten minutes I received a call to follow up and see how they could help me. After a couple of phone calls I felt it was time for a trip to Charlotte. Daniel Decicco and his manager Robby Pryor were awesome to deal with!! They made the car buying experience enjoyable for the first time in my life. They gave us a better deal than we even thought we could get. We found a wonderful dealership with guys we felt we could "trust". How rare and how awesome.
