Best hotel bar. Back in July I went to the bar to meet up with some friends. The bartender was was a young Spanish guy that kept us entertained. He even bought us a few drinks. This is the first hotel bar that has really exceeded my expectations.

An abundance of services and facilities around the clock.. The Scene
Accommodations range from Deluxe King to City View guest rooms. Junior Suites feature two walls of glass overlooking the skyline and Penthouse Parlors include large garden tubs. All accommodations include fully-stocked refreshment centers, complimentary wireless connections and data ports. The hotel offers 30 specialty shops and seven diverse restaurants, including the Lobby Court Lounge, featuring cocktails and live music. Twenty-four-hour room service is available.

Sales Executive. very dissapointed with recent stay at this hotel, Very much lacking in any type of upscale food and beverage offerrings. Restaurant is very basic at best . Service did not live up to the rate I paid

Best in Upton. Recently for a company conference, I had to go around downtown charlotte to find a "modern" hotel. I checked and visited all I could, and I was very impressed with the Omni!! I think it is the best in charlotte. Clean and New, and right in the middle of everything, great location.

Nice for a weekend getaway. We recently stayed at the hotel this past Sept '02 and thought it was great! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and our room (a jr suite with a corner view) was excellent. Our bed WAS triple sheeted and we found extra pillows and robes in the closet. The only downfall was room service which was rather pricey for the quality- while my husband's steak was good, my chicken pasta was horrible, the lemon sauce reminded me of lemon scented lysol! Breakfast in the restaurant was so-so.
