Great Service! Always available and diligent in follow up. Rented my property to a great tenant! Thank you!
I noticed my A/C was not working, so I took the face off of the thermostat and noticed it didn't have any batteries in it, so I put some in there and re-attached the thermostat So after that I could read the temp. in the condo. I tried to see if I could get it to work because the temp in the condo was already 80'. So I then checked the breaker, no luck. I even went out side to check that breaker as well. It was on also.
Well, the temp outside was 80' as well, so opening the patio door would do no good. I worked with power companies all my life. One day I got heat exhaustion and since then, I can not handle the heat without getting sick from over heating!
All this took place after 7:00pm. I called your agent for instructions on what to do. She called her A/C people and called me back. The A/C called me and asked me to cut off the unit and asked if it would be ok if they could come the next morning, which they did first thing and fixed my A/C unit. I forgot to fill out a request form after I had talked to the A/C people that night. I am very well satisfied with the time and the way it was handled. Thanks, Danny Grooms, and a special thanks to my agent that works for you. Ann is the only name I remember, but she really did her job and helped me out in my time of need. Thanks Ann Bradford, good job!
We had the same poor experience with Anne Bradford from Park Avenue Properties unfortunately.....I've never in my life had to deal with so much unprofessional nonsense as I have with this property manager and company. They're truly awful. You will pay more one way or another even if you follow all the rules and do everything correct. I regret ever leasing with this horrific company. RENTER BEWARE!
Anne Bradford from Park Avenue Properties was one of the most unprofessional agents that I have ever been affiliated with. At first she seemed caring and helpful, but that all changed after we signed out lease. She began calling me almost weekly to complain about things in our neighborhood that I did not do or had any control over. I felt like she was accusing me of these things because she harassed me every week. She also stated she loved renting to us and would like to renew our lease. When It came time to renew our lease she stuck us and said she decided to changed her mind after she told us a month prior that she would love to. So there I was stuck without a place to live and had 2 days to move out. Not only did she do me dirty there, she also did not return any security deposit. She said the condition of our house was to bad to return our deposit. With that being said our place was left in immaculate condition. We moved out and cleaned the house all day. It was cleaner when we moved out than it was when we moved in if I must say so myself. I am not one to leave a mess for a landlord because I know that they have to get it ready to rent to another tenant. I was raised with better morals than that. Even though she left us out to dry we still did the right thing and vacated and cleaned the house top to bottom. I have talked to several other tenants that have rented off this company as well and they stated the same issues with Anne. She is nice at first and then once your locked in a lease she nickles and dimes you until the end. She runs her management company like a scam. I would not recommend her to anyone because she never gives back security deposits for any house or unit she rents. I advise you to take pictures and document everything with her if you do rent from her, because she will lie and everything else.
We rented from this so called realty company. The air conditioning stopped working in the middle of the summer. Park Avenue refused to repair the air conditioning in temperatures in the 100's, we were forced to move again from our home, due to our family's safety. This was the second instance in which we were forced to move by this Realtor. We did not and would take anymore abuse by this organization and decided to leave. They will not take blame for anything and WILL stick it to the renter at any chance they get. There are better realty organizations out there, please continue to look.
My property is in such great hands with Park Avenue taking care of it. They are always quick to respond to my requests. They work to ensure that not only are my tenants taken care of that are renting my property, but that I have a great level of comfort knowing that my property is being properly managed. I am living on the opposite side of the country from my property and they have done a stellar job helping me keep it maintained, rented and repaired, even after a large insurance claim. You will be missing out, if you don't choose them for your property management services!
I'm pleased/proud to say that Park Avenue is in progress serving me& my ladies. They had a couple of kinks .They work it out .The place that I selected is nice .My ladies & I thankful, appreciative of their outstanding performance that they have achieve. Keep up the great customer service throughout . Smile on everyone face(s) (:
We feel so blessed to have Park Avenue manage our property! Our property manager, Ann Bradford, is such a hard/passionate worker! She is truly invested in this business and the families she works with! We feel she cares about both the owners' and tenants' needs. Park Avenue is the ONLY management company to trust your property with. I can't say enough how pleased we our with our decision to trust them with our home. You will not find anyone that will work harder!!!!
I have had Park Avenue Properties manage one of my units now for several years. I find that property management companies in general show their true colors when problems with a tenant arise. Over the course of the past 12 months, we have had a situation with a tenant in which Park Ave and specifically Laura Russell have risen to the occasion and gone through extensive legwork to ensure that everything is consistently being resolved and we are moving forward together with a plan of action. Given that I am out of state, a relationship such as the one I have with Park Avenue Properties is essential to keep my home rented for the long term to a good tenant. I cannot say enough good things about Laura Russell and Park Avenue Properties when the going gets tough. . . and that's when it matters most.
Park Avenue Properties is an absolute nightmare to deal with. My husband and I have been looking for rental properties online for going on 4 weeks. We have called the office, left messages, even contacted individual property managers listed on their website - asking someone - ANYONE - to assist us in viewing available rentals. However, we have only communicated with Park Ave representatives and/or sales agents on two occasions during this time frame. We have requested around 17 viewings of rental properties online, and have followed Park Avenue's "rules" for viewing those properties. Once a potential renter requests to view a particular property, he/she is supposed to request 3 showing times (at least 48 hours in advance). We have done this multiple times but have not once been contacted by a Park Ave. rep to view a rental property. It's infuriating and unnecessarily time-consuming on the part of renters like us and I can only imagine how detrimental this is to the actual owners of these rental properties. They probably have no idea how little Park Avenue does to show the properties they are managing!
Two weeks ago, I managed to get in touch with a Park Ave rep via phone at the main office. I inquired specifically about 3 homes that were listed online and was told 2 of the homes were already rented while the other home was still available. I asked to view the property, explaining my difficulty booking a viewing online, and was still told to "request an appt. online." When I argued, I was told I would receive a return call. And I'm still waiting.
Two weeks later, I viewed the same listing online for one of the properties that was reportedly already rented, and it was tagged with a price "REDUCED" sign! So, was the property actually rented? If so, why was it marked as "reduced?"
Fast forward to our experience today: my husband and I drove past a Park Ave rental property and called the number listed on Zillow. I miraculously received a return call from a sales associate on call, who told us we could text a photo of our driver's license and they would send us a code to see the property. So, we did just that - we text our driver's license and then received 2 different "potential" lock-key codes for the rental lock-key. We drove 20 minutes to the property but NEITHER code would open the lock-key! We text and called the rep a couple of times while we waited in the hot sun another 20 minutes, hoping we could get in touch with her and see the property as planned, but never heard back from her or anyone else. Nor did we receive an apology or explanation the following day.
For these reasons, I cannot recommend Park Avenue Properties as a reliable or trustworthy rental property management company - in fact, I feel sorry for the individuals who are entrusting this company to rent out their homes. I have to wonder how many renters, like us, are being completely ignored while available properties remain vacant!
