Call Someone Else.
Unfortunately you are best to select another heating and AC company. The amount they charge is outrageous, did not fix the problem and want to charge for someone to come out again to fix the problem. Tried to reason with them, but they would not bend. They said that is what the book said. They charged $119 to locate a wire in three minutes and $61 to cut 2 inches off the thin wire. All this for less than 5 minutes work on top of the $90 service fee. It still does not work.
Stay away and try another company.
Inappropriate Service Technician. My A/C stopped working and I called this company to come out and see what was wrong. Brad, the service tech, said I needed a whole new unit and it would be $6000.00. Then he told me that he would do it under the table for $3000. He gave me a time limit to pressure me into possibly doing this to save money. Not trusting this assessment I had a second opinion and was told I needed a part and it would cost less than $500. I do not blame the owner of Horne but feel that this was the only way to anonymously post my complaints and give alert for others to ask for second opinions. Taking advantage of people is disgusting and felt that all should post this for Horne and Charlotte consumers. I am writing this anonymous because I do not trust the service technician because they have my address.
<dont leave a message they wont call you back>. They are a messy unorganized bunch. They have the additude like the customer is stupid and they are all thats out there. Let me tell you I wouldn't ever do buisness there again.
