The Best Pub in Charlotte. Jerrie and Bill are two of the nicest folks you will ever meet. The two run Limericks which is the best pub in Charlotte bar none.

Why do I say that? It is the owners and the patrons. This is a no nonsense bar (i.e., drink plenty but behave yourself). Jerrie is a legitimate sweet Irish lady who cares for everyone. Most of the patrons love sports but we also talk about all kind of things---no one is "politically correct." (And yes, from a grammarian, the period does come before the quotation mark--it is old school.) If you are looking for the "beautiful people, go elsewhere. What you will find here are just plain genuine folks. I am a Southerner and many of the patrons are from Boston, Philly, etc., but they are delightful. If you live in South Charlotte and want to just sit in a quiet environment and have cocktail or two or a Guiness or three and converse with normal everyday folks some of whom are extremely intelligent, such as Dr. Bob, this is the place. Great hidden treasure.
