I've been getting tattoos for many years and I've met many excellent people and I've seen many prominent tattoo shops, but all of them pale in comparison to Paris Tattoos. After moving back to Charlotte from San Francisco (where there are many great tattoo shops and artist) I was longing to find just the right place, with the right heart and passion to begin doing more work. I looked high and low for about 3 years. I took my time because I knew when I found the right place and the right person, I would know it in my heart.

The day I walked into Paris Tattoos I was blown away. It wasn't like anything I had ever seen before. It wasn't a hole in the wall where you pick out something hanging on the wall and have it inked on your body. It was the opposite! It was an experience. The moment you walk into Paris Tattoos you are confronted with the beauty of the experience. You can feel the passion and see the passion in the portfolios of the artists Paris has on staff. You can feel the passion of each person working in the shop. Paris is the leader of passion because he is full of passion.

You can tell each artist was hand picked by a leader who understands that tattooing is more than just putting on ink in order to get to the money. Paris Tattoos is about relationships and connections. Paris Tattoos is about the journey. You are made to feel comfortable the moment you meet Paris. Paris cares not only about your story and ideas, but works with you on the image until it is the perfect art and story to put on your human canvas forever.

The shop is clean, professional and upscale. His wife Alexandra is a joy to work with and cares for you from the moment you walk in. The after care is unmatched. Not only do they send you home with a plan of aftercare, they follow up by email, Facebook and then have you return in a few days to take a look at the work to make sure all is healing perfect. If you are looking to get some ink, then you don't need to look any further than Paris Tattoos. You will not regret it. I'm a customer for life.

I just recently had a tattoo done by Paris and it is by far my favorite tattoo that I have on my body. Now that it is all healed up, I can't stop looking at it and showing it off. Not only is the shop amazing but the people that work there are amazing and so friendly. I will definitely be going back!

If you are looking for just getting a tattoo, go somewhere else. If you are looking for a work of art, a masterpiece, then go here. Paris is a genius, a master of his craft. He took an idea I had and made it more beautiful and extraordinary than I ever imagined. I am proud to be a part of his portfolio. Thank you Paris!

Now that my tattoo is all healed up, I wanted to take an opportunity to add an additional 5 star review for Paris Tattoos. Paris is an unbelievably talented artist. The shop is impeccably clean and well decorated, and I felt comfortable immediately. This was my second tattoo and the experience I had at Paris Tattoo could not have been better. I plan on getting all my future work done with Paris. Paris is also INCREDIBLY patient. A few hours into my session I started tensing up a bit from the pain and Paris had to keep reminding me to relax. He was very polite and didn't seem to get frustrated with my low pain threshold. The finished product is a breathtaking piece of work. Also, the healing procedure that Paris recommends was very effective and unique. My skin healed very quickly with minimal scabbing. The fact that we have an artist this talented in Charlotte who also has a GREAT personality is wonderful. There's no reason to go anywhere else in the area for a tattoo. Also, Paris' wife Alexandra is a wonderful person who was very pleasant to be around. I'll be back!!

Brilliant!. I planned my first tattoo in my mind and my heart for over a year. Paris brought it to life in just a few hours. I first met with Alexandra for a consultation, and she was welcoming, kind, and very helpful. The studio itself is so far beyond the old fashioned concept of a "tattoo parlor-" truly it is an artists' studio, nothing less.

When I came for my appointment with Paris, he spent over an hour with me to carefully design the tattoo just as I wanted, listening to me, studying my photographs and absorbing my explanations. He carefully created a transfer, and repositioned it until we were all satisfied. I knew this mattered to him and to Alexandra, not only to me! That made me feel as important as a client, even as a newcomer to the world of tattooing.

The tattoo is a celebration of life and memorial of losses, in one, and it is perfectly representative of my feelings. I wanted a floral design, a vine, that was embroidered on my wedding gown. Paris did this. I wanted beautiful script of the word "liebe" incorporated into the vine, and he did this as well. But most importantly to me, he created a perfectly proportioned, delicate, feminine, and sexy tattoo which suits me, and that seems like a miracle in itself! Exactly what I dreamed of. More!

The tattoo is still healing, and it is exciting to watch it heal and know that it will be with me forever, and thanks to Paris, it is something I can be proud to share and show.

Amazing Artist.... Class Act..... Charlotte, NC is so very lucky to have one of the best tattoo artists in the world. I was introduced to Paris by some friends of mine who were customers as well. As soon as I walked into his studio, I knew it was the perfect place for me. It looked as if I was walking into an art studio rather than a tattoo studio. But all in all, isn't tattooing art? Paris has the right idea about how to make a customer feel special & comfortable. He will tell you like it is if something doesn't look right or if a previous tattoo is "pretty horrible". He can fix mistakes other tattoo shops have made & make them look amazing! His work is bar-none, the BEST I have ever seen. His pricing is very reasonable, but you honestly can't put a price on the work he does.

Go to Paris Tattoos if you are looking for the most perfect of all tattoos. You will not be disappointed!

I love my tattoo!. Paris worked absolutely free hand, he took the time to talk with me about the elements that were really important to me started with a sketch, erased that, and then let the creative juices flow. We talked during the tattoo about how the work was progressing and made decisions that brought the final work to a culmination of immense beauty.

He is amazing to watch work, he had nine machines prepared, and made adjustments as he went so that he could get the perfect line or shade. Paris took the time to set up four different shades of gray, and hand blended the white. He had surgical precision. His machines became paint brushes on a living canvas. Paris Pierides is truly a master and anyone would be lucky to work with him.

Exceptional. I wish I could give bonus stars 5 really isn't enough. The shop is beautiful, extremely clean and well decorated. The atmosphere is very professional yet accommodating as are all the staff. It is so comfortable and welcoming I would be happy to dine or have drinks there.

On my first visit to the shop, even though they were busy with many inquiries, I was greeted immediately. Paris was very friendly, we discussed my desired tattoo, it's placement and size, he gave me insight on what I wanted to achieve vs my original idea with suggestions on how I might continue. I made my appointment that day and was given easy and clear instruction on how to proceed. I had to change my appointment twice due to unforeseen schedule changes; Paris tattoos was kind and understanding; got me rescheduled right away. I went in a few weeks later to go over my art work again; during this visit Paris again took his time to really understand my idea, he offered some more thoughtful advice and again gave me clear and easy to follow instructions for my upcoming appointment.

The day of my appointment went very smoothly. We started right on time, I have to attribute this to the time taken to prepare and discuss before hand. There is a lot of fine line and detail in the near full sleeve I had done. Paris worked quickly and with diligence. Paris and the other artists in the shop made sure I had anything I needed at all times. Talking with Paris over the 6 hour process was natural friendly. We finished much more quickly than I had anticipated. Paris explained the after care instructions thoroughly and made certain I understood. The recovery has been fantastic. Little to no pain and very little swelling that went away after the first day.

The best part of course is how incredible my tattoo turned out. Paris is an amazing artist, the placement, fine line detail, and color mixing are all beyond my expectation. I honestly could not be happier with my entire experience at Paris Tattoos. Very professional and clean, yet friendly and accommodating with an exceptional artists.

One of a Kind, unique Ink!!. I was involved in a tattoo collaboration with a "friend" and assumed I was getting a custom piece. The only part I was able to get completed was the outline due to scheduling and then I found out the outline was a trace from someone else's tattoo!! :( I was very disappointed...

So, here I was on the lookout for another tattoo artist who could finish my owl to my satisfaction and with trust! I was looking through the shops that have been around town for many years and found great ideas...BUT, I decided to google "tattoo shops in Charlotte" and this very moment changed my everything!!

I stumbled upon (more like divine intervention) Paris Tattoos! From the first glimpse I was hooked and sold on this place...

I stopped by to check them out in person and I have never been in such a classy, eclectic tattoo/art studio. I was at a loss for words! I truly had no idea that this genre of business could be so colorful, energetic and full of life - and that this type of style had moved into my city!!! You can feel the positive energies as soon as you enter through the door! It is by far a step above your average tattoo parlor that generally has the hard edged roughness that defines the scene! This "studio" is filled with artifacts, artwork and pictures of amazing tattoos! Paris and Alexandra take pride in their chosen paths and that exudes from every corner!

I received a nose piercing from Alexandra first. She is so gentle in nature and very kind. I closed my eyes and before I knew anything was happening, she was done - it didn't even hurt a bit!! She is very fluid in action and very detailed with care/cleaning instructions. I then met with Paris and at first, he wasn't so excited to finish someone else's tattoo! The reasoning?? He didn't want to be disrespectful to the person who started it!! How's that for A-1 style?! He agreed to help me out and I am so very grateful!

I spent 4 hours with him on his table and it was something I will never forget! He is so very engaging and concerned with your well being. We had great conversation and great music. I very much enjoyed the atmosphere; very relaxing and easy going during a thousand+ needle punctures at best!! I am already thinking of many more to get! I have wanted tattoos for a long time and just waited...to find Paris in my own back yard!! He is also very concerned with after care to ensure proper healing and schedules a follow up just to take a peek! Few places care so much after the sale is complete...the final view shows his dedication and detail orinetation to the world and he really cares what others will see! Art is his life...

I highly recommend this studio to anyone!! I'm still in awe about the images that come from this Man and his imagination...one of a kind person in this sea of life that can put art on your skin for you to carry for eternity!!
