Changes prices to suit their needs!!!!. I went to INVU because I got a gift certificate. I had highlights done twice by Jennifer who actually did a good job. Then tried a keratin treatment because it was on sale for 250.00 and normally 300.00. Jennifer did this too and turned out good. However my issue is with Gina the owner. I had purchased the keratin shampoo and conditioner at a certain price then one month later went back to purchase the same size/product of the shampoo and conditioner. This time Gina was at the reception desk with the receptionist. I put the exact same bottles on the counter for purchase and the receptionist looked them up in the computer but hesitated, looked at Gina and then Gina looked at her and then pointed to the computer screen as to which item to click on. Not one word was shared between them..just a look that immediately made my "bull@#$ antenna" go straight up. The cost was doubled! I told Gina that less than one month ago I had purchased them at 1/2 the price. First she said it was a mistake then she said it was an employee discount (ahhh, I don't work there!) I left without purchasing them because I felt I was being taken advantage of. I told my friend and neighbor what had happened because she had also gotten a keratin treatment with Jennifer. Her mouth dropped and she said that Gina had tried to charge her actually MORE than the doubled price she had tried to charge me and this was just a few days apart!!! I ended up going to another salon in Indian Trail (a good one that actually has their prices in print!) the stylists there said that they knew Gina and knew that she infact did price switching depending on the day of the month and what she needed to pay her bills! Please DO NOT visit I.N.V.U salon!!!! It's scary to think someone would do this to their cusomers!!!
Not a great salon.
I went there upon recommendation of a friend who recommended Gina the owner. I would not go back to her EVER as she cut my hair like a mullet and thinned my hair out at the ends when it is thin to begin with. (not to mention her lack of product knowlege as well)
I was so upset with how my hair turned out, I went to another salon to get it fixed. The other salon charged $60 and it was well worth it ! When it comes to your hair that is how you are seen every day. You cant hide it unless you wear a hat to cover it up.
INVU salon is cheap $35 for a hair style, but girls you get what you pay for I have learned the hard way. The salon has hillbillies walking in and hanging around which further enhances its cheapness.
