Pizza >Wolfman Pizza
charred crusty pizza.
Cotswold Wolfman pizza will burn your pizza crust.
I had been going to the Cotswold location regularly for more than 1 year.
I asked nicely for the pizza not to be burned when i placed my order for more than 6 months. The pizza would
come to the table with a charred crust every time.
Saturday, 03/17/2012: I made a phone order 704-366-3666.
I asked for the crust not to be burned when i ordered.
Picked up the pizza at the counter, opened the box, Guess what?
Yes, the crust was charred.
Yes, the blond manager (i guess she is a manager) was there.
She offered nothing more than excuses and to make another pizza - charred crust no doubt.
So, if you like charcoal crusty pizza AND a location that appears not to care about their customers requests
then go to Cotswold Wolfman pizza!
TERRIBLE!. The best way I can describe this pizza is Imagine the most favorless pizza you can imagine (I cannot help but have Chucky Cheese Kids Pizza Popping in my head) and then just dash some italian seasoning on it, it is just terrible. We also got some wings at a lil over a dollar each and they are also just as favorless. I woudn't waste my money or my time in waiting for this pizza.
Best Pizza. Hands down the best pizza in Charlotte. Love their specialty Pizzas (i.e. Cheeseburger Pizza) but also their custom builds are exceptional. Great service too - one time we ordered delivery and the pizza was just "warm" when it got here - we called and they gave us store credit for the order. We're loyal customers.
I've always seen this pizza shop and never bothered to give it a chance before assuming it'd be just like all the rest, but in the pursuit of something different, boy am I glad I tried this pizza!!
I ordered the paparazzi pizza and the shrimp scampi pizza. WOW. I love that the ingredients used on these pizzas are so fresh, and they are so flavorful! Everything about the pizza here is great! Well, not everything- if anything I would have hoped for larger sizes!
That's my only complaint is that I definitely expected a larger pizza for the price, but in the end I think it was worth it. Definitely give Wolfman Pizza a chance if you haven't yet, and definitely be brave and try their specialty pizzas. I was apprehensive about the shrimp scampi and ordered the smaller size but was pleasantly surprised by the flavor and wish I had gotten a larger one. I'm so excited about my next pizza binge and giving their other specialty pizzas a try. In all fairness, the small size pizza is about comparable to a personal pizza and for $8 is about what you'd spend on lunch anyway, so it's not too terribly priced, but I think for a family, 1 large pizza is going to leave you hungry! Anyway, a definite YES to Wolfman pizza.
