GREAT FOOD. I am a native New Yorker and have been in the Charlotte area for about 4 years. Up until recently discovering Nino's Pizza and Pasta (formerly Anzi's) I have not been able to have real NY style pizza. Its safe to say that the food at Nino's was GREAT! I thoroughly enjoyed my supreme slice of pizza, while I shared some chicken parmigiana with my wife. The sauce they use was spectacular! I will definitely be telling my friends and family about this place!

Best food best service I have found so far in Charlotte. Pizza is great. Calimari is the best TRY IT. And Phil (the owner ) is top notch. If you want a great place to eat and get good prices as well this is your place. And they are open on Sundays now so you can treat yourself to a great meal on Sunday afternnon and not have to spend time in the kitchen

Too much Cheese !!. Pizza was way over cheesed, but the crust is good and crisp with the sesame seeds.

Baked ziti was awful!! Was nothing but cheese! Could not eat it. Had to pick out the ziti and left about a pound of cheese on plate. I asked for some sauce on the side. Way too much garlic in it!!!

Advice: Dumping on a ton of cheese on everything does NOT make good Italian food.

or over garlicing. (save money and use less cheese).

rude rude and more rude. Totally blond takes 20 mins for already made slices then slams them on counter calling out our name.

Owner does nothing and we have been a steady customer for a few years now. NEVER AGAIN!!! Also have to tell my friends Wolfman much better and not rude. To the owner get better help! You have lost a few customers sir... We loved the pie but same as other customers it's not that good to have a 15 year old act so rude. Sorry but NEVER again!

Great Family Pizzaeria. This place reminds me of my local pizzeria on Long Island. It is a family run place, you can see Mr. Anzi running around yelling at all the other family members and workers. That is a true Italian Pizzeria!! My kids love watching the pizzaman make the calzones, strombolies and pizza!! Great place....Great people....GREAT FOOD!!!!!

It's ok, but it's not NY!!. I thought Anzi's pizza was reminiscent of Ellio's--doughy and greasy! Not characteristics that I look for in a pizza. Charlotte is definitely lacking in the pizza department! Although the pie wasn't fabulous, it was (frighteningly) one of the better pizzas I've had in the area, aside from the brick-oven, superthin crust pizzas at other restaurants. I have to say, that their service was great! They were very friendly, and I find it hard to believe that ANYBODY has had bad service here.

Nothing NEW YORK about this place!. I want to write to the owners of Anzi and ask them to change their menu, because there is NOTHING New York about their pizza! Yes, I am from New York, and I have yet to find good pizza in Charlotte. I was especially disappointed in Anzi's so-called NY Style pizza. Clearly the chefs have never been to NY, because what they are serving isn't even remotely similar to NY pizza. It's too thick and doughy, with too much cheese and not enough sauce. If they want to make pizza that way, fine... just don't attach the NY name to it!

The good news is that the staff at Anzi was extremely friendly and accomodating. I have nothing bad to say about the service whatsoever!

Anyone who claims that all New Yorkers are rude have never been there!
