Best place to eat in Charlotte. When I first moved to Charlotte, I wasted tons of money trying out different restaurants until I discovered Akropolis. Love this place! Good food at great price. The place is packed any day of the week and the food is soo good. Highly recommend it!

The best ever!. The prices are amazing and so are the workers. They have the best french fries I have ever had and a really yummy menu. I still am amazed at their prices, I have never seen cheaper prices. I recommand it to ANYONE! The strongly believe the best in charlotte.

Best Greek food in Charlotte.... If you want Greek, and you want it right, go here. This place has the best pitas, lasagna, kabobs, Greek salads, soups... you name it. The cooks are excellent and have been there a long time, and every one is an expert at what they do. The waitresses are quite competent, mostly young and energetic, and keep things running in a very smooth way. All of them also know every service job there, so everything is always getting done. You don't have to wait because "your" waitress is off doing something... they pick each other up.

The owner, Mike Sadri, also operates a tight ship and settles for nothing less than the best dining experience for you. He'll often come around and greet you, ask how everything is... consummate restauranteur. Ambience is great; lighted, jovial, and you have a choice of sitting at the bar (like a soda fountain), at a table inside, or at one of the cafe-style tables outside. I recommend 100%; I have been a customer there since 1994...

Great food, great value...OPA!. When I'm in the mood for Greek, this is where I go. I usually go with the chicken souvlakia platter (grilled kabobs) which comes with fries and a greek salad. Their fries are amazing as well as their pita. I also like their gyro which isn't any different from most Greek restaurants except for their homemade tzatziki, it's the best i've ever had. Be aware, customers need to order from the register and servers bring your meal to the table. If you're looking for fast and friendly Greek in a low-key, kid friendly setting, try here. My only comment is that they start using new ketchup bottles...the staff does a good job in refilling the old ones but they can't control the corrosion on the bottle tops.
