Depending on the time of year, Carowinds can be a great place to take the kids. We have season passes and start going early in the season when it opens. They have a great variety so our 2 year old has as much fun as our 5 year old. The Dora show is great too and keeps them entertained. The adult rollercoasters are great too. The Borg is one of the scariest I have ever been on!! Long lines but worth it for 40 seconds of terror!!

Getting a seasons pass is the best thing for your money. You get free parking and can go to Scarowinds and bondai beach. In the summer we practically live there! Definitely hide any food or containers or they will be confiscated at the entrance.
