I have been involved in the sport of purebred dogs since 1972 and I have known Dr. Wendy Ryan for over 10 years. I consider her to be, not only one of the most knowledgeable, but undoubtedly the most compassionate veterinarian I have dealt with. I refer all puppy owners and clients I have in the Charlotte area to her for complete veterinary care. I never hesitate to recommend her. She goes above and beyond for her clients and their beloved pets.

My husband and I met Dr. Wendy Ryan at the Tar Heel Cluster dog show over six years ago. We immediately sensed her strong love and concern for the well being of animals in general. Since that time six years ago, we are so grateful to Wendy for being instrumental in leading us to our very first love ... A Chinese Crested!

We have witnessed Wendy's desire to help her clients by going way beyond the normal call of professional duty. She has interrupted her personal plans both after weekday and weekend hours to assist and aid in pursuing the wellness of an ill canine. She is truly amazing!

Dr. Wendy Ryan is an awesome vet. I have several dogs that complete in agility trials. She understands the needs of canine athletes. She is caring and gentle every time she handles my dogs. She takes the time to fully answer all my questions about my pets health. She has even called me on her day off to give me test results. Truly the definition of a committed veterinarian. Plus it saved me a day of worrying about my dog's health.

I have known Dr Wendy Ryan for 17 years. She has a heart of gold with love and compassion for animals. She has take in animals left at the practices she has worked with that people abandoned and transported them to vet hospitals out of state and paid thousands of dollars of her own money for hip replacements and any other medical needs they had that she could not provide. I have a pet sitting business and have had to call on her late at night in emergency situations for advice and she has always been there for me and the animals that I was caring for. I have know many of her clients who have nothing but praise and admiration for her and her care of their animals. She has been there with help for them at home and where ever they needed her.

She is one in a million who really has the calling for medicine and care for animals.

Dr. Ryan is a wonderful vet. Her love of animals clearly shines from the very outset upon meeting her. Not only is she extremely competent in her work, but she also maintains a compassionate and caring demeanor in dealing with her patients. Add to that a terrific and enthusiastic personality, and Dr. Ryan possesses the entire package desired in a vet.

I absolutely love Dr. Wendy Ryan. She is not at Sardis any more but I found her to be extremely loving and caring in attending to our Shi Tzu Buffy. She is a real "animal person" and her compassionate nature really shines. She is a dedicated veterinarian who loves dogs and cats. My current dog Snuggles (a Chinese Crested Powder Puff) adores her.

Dr. Ryan, and her service to us and our dogs, has never disappointed. We have known Wendy for years, and though we have not used Sardis AC, Dr. Ryan has been our dogs' vet at other clinics. She is knowledgeable and professional, but also easygoing and compassionate. She helped ease us through the scariest medical emergency we've ever experienced with any of our animals, and followed up, concerned, even though our dog had to have surgery out of town with a different specialist. I hope Dr. Ryan will always be a part of our dogs' (and our!) lives.

Dr.Wendy Ryan has been my veterinarian for more than 16 years while I was living in 3 different states and I was thrilled to find when I moved to Charlotte that she was here. She has treated all my Persian cats, as well as now in Charlotte treating my 2 Havanese dogs and my 1 mixed Havamalt dog. One of the Havanese is very fussy and I was delighted that she did not "freak" out when I took her to Dr Ryan, now she loves her. I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Ryan and will follow her to any clinic that is lucky enough to have her on their staff. I was very sorry when she left Sardis but went with her to the new clinic and will continue to do so. I recommend her to anyone who is looking for the best caring vet for their animals.

Dr Wendy Ryan has been my veterinarian for over 10 yrs. She is one of the most knowledgeable and caring doctors I've ever met. She always has the most up to date medical advice for my pets. My dogs love her. It was a huge loss to the Sardis Animal Clinic when she left, but I followed her to her new business. I have highly recommended her to all of my friends and they love her too!
