Course was fun to play pace was ok,
about 4.5 hrs but the greens were in absolutely awful shape, ball divots from lazy players everywhere, and burned out dead grass.

Tradition Golf Course.
Played today 4/9/2012 , very disappointed. Course in bad condition. I did like the layout. Price was good for after 2pm rate ($35.00) Problem is course is in bad shape, no grass, greens are bad, lots of bare spots and weeds in the fairway. Probably a nice course when in good condition but right now a waste of money. Poor conditions. Very demanding tee shot. Not a place for high handicap golfers. Good opportunity to score if you hit the fairway problem is there is no fairway to hit. Came in from out of town to play there and was disappointed. Not with course or layout, but with the course condition.

In Short

Golfing Squirrel.
One of my favorites! Tradition is a great layout, but probably the most demanding off the tee of any course in Charlotte. Straight or shaped tee shots are a must, unless you like hanging out with the squirrels.
Both 9 and 18 are nice par 5's, and a nice birdie opportunity after a good tee shot. Beware of the water near the 18th green. An approach shot too far left may find the water!
