Good Food Great Band.
My last visit was Dec. 19. Best food out of the last couple times we have eaten there, the food was still only just OK at best, except for the wings, they were good. But the main attraction that night was the band. Usually Midtown has bands for a younger crowd, but the band on the 19th was The Blues Providers. They had a pretty good rock band open up for them, Mother Mable. I'll go back when The Blues Providers play, if the food is bad, the band will make it worth the trip. If you go for the wings alone, they are always good. OK food(that trip 12/19), Great Blues Band.

well i agree with the folks that beive the smell of cigarettes is enough to sicken anyone the other gross thing about this place was the service and the fact i got a 7.00 margarita that tasted like koolaide did not help when i attempted to complain to the shrivel little mngr he basically shrugged his shoulders and acted like so what. the one good thing they had going were the cheap wings but with poor service its not even worth my time..good writtens to midtown lousy service

Service poor, food good.
The service is very poor, but the wings, onion rings (if you can get them to prepare them freshly) and spinach dip are delicious. It also stinks really bad in here. We tend to order take-out unless my husband and I just want to catch a game away from the house. The hostess/cashiers spend more time talking with each other than helping the customers. The waitstaff will walk by you multiple times before anyone bothers to say "Welcome, I can seat you now."

rapidly declining.
My friends and family have been dedicated Midtown Sundrie patrons for more then a decade, but it seems that since the downtown location closed its doors the remaining locations have all gone down hill. I was ok with the poor service, decreased portions, and the decline in the overall quality of the food, but when i bit into a raw buffalo chicken sandwich at the mtn island location on 01/27/08 i decided it was time to cut my losses. The sandwich was completely raw, cold, and it looked as if the cook made no attempt to prepare it correctly, but it somehow made its way out to my table and ultimately into my mouth. I have never experienced anything so disgusting at a restaurant in my life, and im finally glad to know that Midtown Sundries is no longer an establishment i will be entering again.

No Service.
My fiance' and I were going out for some trivia and hopefully a good meal when we went to this establishment. We were first approached by a bouncer who told us we had to pay for a band we didn't want to see in the first place, but we paid the cover anyway. We sat at a table, and waited until 10 waitresses literally passed us by before we got up and left. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
