Awesome. My hubby and I love it here. It is a little pricey for us but well worth it with the amazing food (especially the veggie fried rice) and pleasant service. I'm surprised with some of the reviews... we've never experienced anything but great service and food!
THE BEST. I started working in Huntersville 6 years ago and fell in love with House of Taipei immediately...we would walk over from the office...it's the best Chinese I've ever had...I take friends and family there & they always love it as well...they are friendly & the food is always consistent....they know me by name & always ask about my family. I will continue to go there...Lunch menu is very inexpensive and even though dinner is more expensive we have found that one entree feeds 2 people...so it's still worth it.
Unresponsive Manager and Uncaring Server, THAT'S RIGHT. Have been visiting them a few times with my family and seems getting worse food and service experience,
AVOID AT ALL COST. Has to be the WORST Asian/Chinese food I have EVER eaten. My family is from Asian descent and I have spent time in China and the Philippines. NEVER NEVER go to this place.
Unresponsive Manager and Uncaring Server. House of Tapai in Huntersville WAS one of my favorite restaurants to dine. I would drive from East Charlotte to this restaurant practically every Saturday afternoon or evening just to enjoy their meals. However, on my last, (and FINAL) visit to this restaurant, I found the manager and one particular female server less concerned about the satisfaction of me as their customer than anything else. I expressed to the manager that I was unhappy with the taste of the chicken (my order was the Beef and Chicken Dual). The chicken was rubbery and not seasoned. My request was to remove the chicken, and bring the full serving of the other portion of beef. Instead, the manager DEFENDED HIS DISTRIBUTOR and gives me a "dissertation" about how long he had used this particular distributor and that they are the best. My problem was not the distributor, but the taste of my meal. Instead of focusing on my desires as a customer and responding to my distaste of the meal, he basically told me that if I had a problem with the meat, I should've ordered something else. Now, uh, how could I know the food was unsatisfactory without eating it first? Anyways, I found this manager to be unresponsive to the needs of me as his customer, and unwilling to meet my request to simply bring me the complete quantity of the beef minus the chicken! Not only that, I was charged for the regular price for my meal! I expected this manager to do what he had to do to keep a customer who has visited his restaurant not only EVERY weekend, but ever since he first began in the University area. I WILL NOT be returning to this restaurant, and not only that, every single person that I have ever referred this restaurant to will be aware of the BELOW STANDARD CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. I hope losing 20-50 customers was worth this manager not satisfying the needs of one customer. This restaurant may be experienced in providing good food, but sometimes, good food is not enough to keep customers returning.
Best Chinese food in and around Charlotte!. I drive 20 miles to get carryout from this place because the food/service is simply amazing. Kung Pao tofu dishes and veggie fried rice are consistently delicious! I was told by the staff that a 'sister' location existed much closer to me, and after one experience there, I"ll never return. WELL WORTH the drive to Huntersville for this food. Great atmosphere, great service, and a menu that can suit almost anyone !
Yummy Chinese food!. My favorite in all of Charlotte. Everything I've ever ordered on the menu has been good. Quick service and a good value.
Best North Charlotte Chinese Food. All the guys here at work cannot stop raving about this place. If you want good Chinese food in North Charlotte (and very inexpensive for lunch), check this place out.
