Almost any time of any day, patrons can drop by, grab a drink in a fishbowl and find a crowd jostling at the bar. Every day is cause for celebration, from Table Team Trivia, to live music, to satellite football games. The emphasis is on seafood, with plenty of oysters, clams, shrimp and crab legs. Serving turf as well as surf, the menu offers plenty, including Philly cheesesteak, burgers and a barbecued pork sandwich.

Fun place, good food

My boyfriend and I really enjoy hanging out at Boardwalk Billy's, whether we are going to grab a quick drink or a nice dinner. It has a really comfortable atmosphere with two patios, so you don't feel like you're in too nice of a place. There are peanuts on the floor and you really get the feeling of being in a beachy-dive bar. There are some really great food options on the menu such as crab legs and steam pots as well as burgers and wings. It's a great variety to suit any mood that you are in. They have a full bar, great drink specials. I have never had a bad experience with any server or meal that we purchased. I highly encourage that you go check it out!

A Shuckin' Good Time!

My wife and I met there while we were both still in college. We continue to go back there because of the great atmosphere, food and drink specials. I love the ribs! Not too sure what it is that they do to them, but they are always tender, smokey-sweet and delicious. My wife enjoys the chicken & fruit salad with the honey herb vinagrette dressing. The crab con queso is one of their signature appetizers and you will find yourself scraping the bottom of the bowl with the last of your nacho chips. Outside this is a great place to people watch from either of their 2 patios, indoors it is a great place to watch a game. I am originally from PA but i'm still able to keep up with the Eagles & Phillies because they have the NFL & MLB package!

Charlotte's Best Ribs and oysters

Just have to say I had the time of my life with the friendly staff at Boardwalk Billys by the University. Food was fantastic and i have never been serviced so well. I will be going back this weekend! Oh yeh, a lot of hotties too!

My Favorite Place

This place is great. Awesome patio, great staff and good food to boot. I can bring my kids in during the day to see the ducks, and then come back with my wife and friends the same night for dinner, drinks and usually a band. These guys do it right. Love it!
