Change of pace steakhouse.
Went over the weekend with my wife. Charlotte is flooded with high-end steakhouses for all the corporate bigwigs here with shareholder paid expense accounts but we had a coupon so we decided to give it a try.
The prices are in line with Morton's, etc. though the sides are a little bit cheaper but not as large.
The restuarant was quiet for a Saturday night but the food and service was excellent. The menu had standard steakhouse fare but a few items stood out like the yukon gold mashers which were some of the best I have ever had! The NY strip was nicely seasoned.
It was a nice change of pace though the price might deter a lot of customers, I hope it sticks around though its location might be a negative being so far removed from uptown and all the corp AMEX accts.
