HORRIBLE STAFF, SALTY FOOD!. SO I TIRED THE MADD GREEK AND I ORDERED THE EGGS WITH HASHBROWNS, THE WAITRESS WAS IN A VERY BAD MOOD AND WAS ARGUING WITH THE COOK THE ENTIRE TIME. MY FOOD WAS SO SALTY THAT THE SALT BURNED MY TONGUE. I DID NOT EVEN TAKE 3 BITES. THE WAITRESS NEVER CAME BACK. NEVER GOING BACK AND HOPE YOU WILL NOT EITHER.

The Best Philly Cheesesteak in Town!. I have been eating at Hugo's Diner since 1990 and go there several times a month. The service is great, the menu varied, with breakfast offered at all times, and Chris, the owner/cook and Greek native, knows how to make a mean gyros. My personal favorites are the Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches, which come with fries, and the Souvlaki dinner, accompanied by a great Greek Salad. It's a great stop for a late-night snack when you've been out on the town and you have access to the full menu, unlike some other 24-hour pancake houses that only offer a few items after a certain time.

Charlotte's best kept secret.. Whether you're there for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or at 4:00AM for an eye opener then Hugos has the best diner menu and highest quality food in town.

Family owned and operated and it shows in their attention to the preparation of the food. Everything on the menu is fantastic, and they have the best cheeseburgers in town.
