Good Comfort Food and Down Home Atmosphere. This is a great local spot. Very warm and comfortable atmosphere. Good service. The food is very good in some catagories, not so good in others. Nice barbeque meats. Avoid the pasta dishes, very average. I like this place and the people.

One to Relax and enjoy. This is my favorite place in Charlotte for lunch. Great food Great service and the food is worth its price. Highly recommend.

A menu diverse enough to satisfy everyone in your group.. The Scene
The setting emanates warmth: brick walls and dark woods, combined with cleverly-grouped seating areas, give a cozy feel, perfect for conversation. Service is typically friendly and prompt, with plenty of suggestions on what to order.





The Food


From chicken to steak, from pastas to salads, Harper's has it all. The soup of the day never disappoints, and hungry diners can always count on one of the hickory wood-fired pizzas (which are huge) to fill them up and provide leftovers for breakfast.

If you're in a hurry choose Harper's Fairview Road location, where Harper's To Go offers a hot bar, plenty of heat-and-serve entrees, wine and other accompaniments. Pay by the pound--not cheap, but worth it when you're too tired to cook but don't want to eat something from a sack that gets handed to you through a drive-through window.

Industrialized extravagance. I though it was nice. Everyone is all dressed up. It was busy so the people love it. Very business like not real romantic.
