If your style leans more toward the granola, try one of the herbal teas. The fresh peppermint is a good, light choice for any day, hot or cold.

The Scene
The proximity to UNC Charlotte means Jackson's Java has a steady stream of the college crowd. But this group is of the more laid-back, artsy variety, and even when coupled with the live music that the shop features, never detracts from the coziness of the experience. In addition, this java joint deserves props for being one of the few in town open past 10pm--like a coffee shop should be.…
