So we made the mistake of buying the car from them. The salesman was soo unprofessional it was ridiculous. I mean it seemed like he knew nothing about the car. All he kept saying was " this is a great car". Ok anyone can say that. We made several appointments to meet and whenever we came they were always not ready and we waited forever for them. And when the time came to sign the paper work, he did not know any answers to our questions...He just kept calling other people.. The salesman need to really be educated prior to calling the costumers... Just really an unorganized dealership. They have a long way to go to improve their costumer service. I would never recommand this place to anyone...Unless it is necessary, You should find somewhere else to go.

I came to Parks Chevrolet on North Tryon Street a little afraid of all car dealers. Being a single women, I expected to be take advantage of and I was so surprised. From the moment I entered the showroom, I was treated with the utmost respect. They asked about my needs, and truely seemed concerned I get the right car. I love my new Cobalt. It is perfect. The fuel economy is great, and the price fit my budget. I would tell all my friends and family to go there. I have an appointment for an oil change and I expect the same experience in service.

I don't know too many people who enjoy playing games with car dealerships, personally I'd rather have a root canal. I've bought a new car from Parks a couple of years ago that, but it's my more recent experience of attempting to purchase a used vehicle that I'm reviewing here. In general, I've found them to have little respect for their prospective customer's time. I understand the need for the dealership to make money and I don't expect them to give their products away. However, the "good cop/bad cop" sales games grow old quickly. I just love it when they try to get your sympathy by telling you allegedly how much they have in the vehicle you're interested in buying. Frankly, if they made a bad business deal acquiring their vehicle, that's their problem not the next buyer's, but of course what they tell you they're into it for is almost never true anyway. The vehicle shown on their used cars site that was represented as part of their inventory turns out to be owned by another dealer in another part of the state. When I expressed an interest in this vehicle, they started trying to direct me toward other vehicles on their lot. When finally it became clear that none of the vehicles on their lot was what I was looking for, they reluctantly began the numbers game on the vehicle I'd chosen. Of course, that entails coming in $900 higher than the original quote on their own vehicle and coming in a few thousand below trade-in value on mine. So began the games... Then they tried to get me to agree to a "final" number (pre tax, tag, title and fees" that actually allowed for LESS on my trade-in than what their original quote on my trade-in was. Now talk about insulting!! Do they really think the average consumers can't do simple math, or is it just women consumers that can't do math? Bottom line, folks Parks Chevrolet may claim they treat you like family but if my family treated me like this I'd want to be disowned!
