In Short – Boomerangs, Aussie flags, kangaroo portraits and faux aboriginal art honor the homeland's wilderness, but Outback delivers a polished version of rusticity with varnished blond-wood booths with matching wainscoting and casually uniformed waitstaff. Besides more than a half-dozen cuts of steak, diners can pick from large-portioned entrees like ribs, chops and shrimp or chicken "on the barbie." The Bloomin' Onion, a large onion dipped in batter and deep-fried, is an appetizer with a following.

Excelent Steakhouse

We decided to try other Outback after a terrible service experience (nothing to do with the food) at the one located on Independence Blvd (Mathews, NC). We got to the restaurant and everything was great, the service, the food. The experience was awesome, and I am willing to go back. Try the Victoria fillet or The Melbourne.

I have to think that the ratings of "10" are somewhat suspect...perhaps they work for the corporation? I dunno but I will tell you that to make it to #3 as the best steakhouse in Charlotte, something DEFINITELY went wrong.
I have not been to many here but I did go to Morton's this past weekend and I think we're talking apples and oranges...errrr...McDonald's and Commander's Palace where Morton is NOT the former in the comparison, if you get my hint.
