These are not the big designer names you'll find at Phillips Place, though. They're the comfortable and practical favorites such as Birkenstock, Dr. Marten and…
Great Service

Okay, so I am not from Charlotte. I am actually from Columbia, SC so this should be enuff to get you in there. I just started gauging my ears a few month ago because I don't know needed something different and inexpensive. Little did I know that in Columbia these gauges aren't as inexpensive as I had hoped, but Being the thrill seeker I am I continued buying each new guage at least 20 a pop. Starting at size 18g and moving up an increment of 2 every 2 weeks. This was raggin my wallet until I just happen to ask were this one lady got here tongue ring from. Long story short I drive to Charlotte every so often to increase my guage size and it still is cheaper than cola. Not only are the prices right, but they are genuinely concerned about the their customers. Who would have known a crew of Rockstars could be so cool lol. Anyways for that person who was mad they didn't get a refund, tuff. If u didn't want the items the first time; why would you go back and buy more. Even if you thought u could get ur money back; why wouldn't u just wait until you actually got your money back to make the other purchase. Sounds like somebody was trying to pull one on Rock n Roll Emporium thats all i'm sayin lol

ok. it rocked
i was headed to the tattoo shop a ways down to get pierced and found out they didnt do piercings anymore but they said go to the rock and roll emporium down the sidewalk a bit. so we went.
i went to get both nipples pierced and my toungue done as well as my bfs tongue done
my bf went first . no prob awesome job to the guy piercer.
i have a bad problem i faint when a dentist works on my mouth. this applied to my tongue piercing as well. i felt NO pain at the piercing it was VERY comfortable i just always pass out when it has to do with my mouth.
so anyway
they took VERY good care of me when i did faint though i forgot to tell them i would. gave me something to eat and drink- items they normally sell to customers - for free..... . asked me ifi i wanted a refund for the nipple piercings bc they didnt know if i wanted to go through with them or not.......but i said no go ahead . i would faint today or two weeks from today. and after all i knew i only fainted with oral.
the piercer was very caring and concerned. kept asking me if i was ok broke an ammonia capsule and did not leave my side until i got into the car to make sure i didnt faint again. i thought these people were VERY nice. when i want more piercings i shall go there again. they also have neat little items like grenade watches and cool t shirts.....this is a top notch store.
it has been three weeks all three piercings look absolutely gorgeous. getting pierced was a PLEASURE ............and trust me i was dreading it. so for this 20 year old female i give it a thumbs up!
if you planned to return an item you should have ASKED abotu the return policy not just stated you wanted to return it.just because she didnt tell you you couldnt return it for CASH is not an excuse to give a bad review. it was your mistake. not theirs.
ps infinitys end moved like what 1.5 miles? come on man. its on the corner of independence and idlewilde or however you spell it.
- Pros: service. clean. knowledgeable. good prices. discreet.
- Cons: you might not know they pierce unless its by word of mouth
My first experience was a bad experience.

No returns. Even though I told the employee I intended to buy the items and return the ones I didn't want, she didn't (realizing my misapprehension) tell me there were no returns, and instead sold me all the items. I don't know why or what misunderstandings were going on. The owner didn't think that this was enough of a foul to warrant an exception to his "No Refund" policy. I disagree. I usually have gone to Infinity's End for these kinds of purchases, but because they moved I gave Emporium a try. Because of this bad experience relating primarily to my experience with the owner and one employee who never even apologized but instead retorted by accusing me, it's back to Infinity's End for me.
(PS - if you really care about your customers, inform verbally of the no-return policy with every purchase, or at least put the policy in bold red letters somewhere where he/she has to see it, not 15 feet up in a paragraph and a sea of distractions. You may be legally protected but it's just not good enough. What kills me is I almost asked about the return policy as I was walking out the door, but decided that since I knew that the employee knew I wanted to return the ones I didn't want, I thought it would be redundant and even insulting to her to ask her if she'd just pulled on over on me.)
