Great to work with.. I've bought several cars from Jimmy and had him sell several others for me. He and his staff have always done an excellent job and I've been very satisfied with every transaction and automobile from Discount Auto Brokers.

As a used car dealer, there are all kinds of people that walk through their door -many of them flim-flam artists, or people expecting to be given everything when they don't have the credit or the means to back it up. All I can say is be wary of reviews from someone who claims foul play. I've seen nothing of the sort - quite the opposite (with Jimmy's honesty even being recognized in a"bad" review"). As with anything, you take it with a grain of salt and judge for yourselves. If Discount Auto Brokers/Jimmy acted the way some of these negative reviews described, they would not have been in business as long as they have been.

Finally, as is usually the case, someone with an ax to grind is far more likely to write a review than someone whose had a positive experience. Again, my experience and that of all the folks I've sent to Jimmy has been overwhelmingly positive.

BUYER BEWARE!. STAY AWAY FROM DISCOUNT AUTO BROKERS. My girlfriend in good faith put $200 down on a car pending financing. The owner Jimmy a fast talker stated it was refundable if she could not get approved. They came back with an unreasonable interest rate and said theY had to tattoo the loan in order to make it happen. (Tattoo the loan means the dealer guarantees the loan for one reason or another 130,000 miles, or check engine lights because the lenders will not loan but so much money on a used vehicle.) She waited her 5 days to get her refund and Jimmy the "Owner" would not give her the refund. Stated words like we spent our time and effort, she came to us, we were doing her a favor, and several other accusing statements. The firm was friendly at the first and when asked for a refund Jimmy's true colors came to the surface. He was belligerent, arrogant, and nasty. Looked us in the eye and said sue us and laughed. THERE IS NO WAY I COULD RECOMMEND ANYONE DEAL WITH DISCOUNT AUTO BROKERS.

Good experience. Through a web search, we ID'ed a car they were selling. I contacted them and received good followup. Scheduled a test drive - the car was out front and ready to go. Mike was patient on the test drive and I liked the car, so asked if I could have it inspected by "my mechanic." They were fine with that, even though it took close to 2 hours. During negotiations, they were very reasonable and I felt like we both walked away with a win-win transaction. I am sure they made money on the car and I got it for very close to what I had hoped to. I would definitely look to purchase another used car from them again.

Discount Auto Brokers of Charlotte. I would advise all to STAY AWAY from doing business with Discount Auto Brokers and Jimmy! We gave them 500 down on a car and was supposed to bring the other 1000.00 the following monday. They realized the car had safety issues. The car didnt have the original seats and the seats would not work. We were pleased about their honesty but they have refused to give us back the down payment. They were willing to put it toward another car though. We couldnt find anything we wanted or could afford on the lot. After months of back and forth we purchased from someone else and asked Jimmy for our 500 returned. He said we had a "verbal agreement" to purchase a car from him and would not return the money. We have since reported this and will be persuing every option available to us get our money back. I can't stress enough to stay away from this car dealer. You will be happy you did!
