Tips for Euphoria Salon & Spa

April 25, 2013

There's a lot of competition in the salon market, especially in this area but Euphoria has a different appeal to it. In addition to the beautiful atmosphere and authentic European vibe, I received a warm welcome from the receptionist and left feeling like my experience totally exceeded my expectations..My skin has been glowing since and my blowout looked fab for 3 days?!!! I couldn't leave without booking another appointment with Paulina and Artem. Love it!!

Great hair and great service. I got a Gift Card for Euphoria for Christmas. I didnt know about Euphoria before and was sceptical ( espcially because of some negative reviews here..) but I found out otherwise.

My friend couldnt have chosen a better gift for me!

I loved the way they did my hair (Thanks Artem!) and I walked out with an appointment for their spa! I cant wait to go back!

I have been going on and off to them for years (moved away twice). I can honestly say that my recent Caviar Facial was the best one ever!

They have had good people there before (gone for waxing as well) but she has a great touch! Paulina gave me a relaxing experience and I really forgot what a bad day I was having. Thank you and I will be back again to see her.

I got a surprise manicure and pedicure from my boss it was great experians.Tools were cleaned after each client and sprayed with disinfectant plus I didn't have to dip my feet into a parafin tub that everyone else dipped their feet in to.Parafin was in plastic bag for my feet only.

Shortly after moving to Charlotte from New York, my hair needed some love.My stylist Yana was very professional. She listened to me and gave me her professional opinion and I trasted her. My hair cut looks amazzzing best blow out by her assistant. I am not easy to please but she accomplished not an easy task. Highly recommend.

Treated Like S***. I dont want to even give them one star but I think I have to. So granted this was a couple years ago but now that I am actually a hairdresser I know how clients should be treated. I made an appt to this salon because I wanted the best and I thought since this was a supposed nice salon in southpark it would be. Not even close. I was placed with a girl I THINK her name was nicole I cant remember but she was a B****. I told her I wanted platinum blonde hilights. She foiled my whole head then left me with her assistant for the remainder of my visit. The assistant rinsed me and the girl didnt even come back to check on me or my color or ANYTHING. The assistant gave me a half a** blowdry and stared at me horrified at how yellow my hair was. She didnt say a word nor did I because I thought maybe it was the lighting. I left and went to my bartending job that night and realized it wasnt the lighting. My hair was a hot yellow mess that cost me 285 dollars. I called them that evening and said I needed a toner. They said I could come in the next day to get a toner for 50 dollars. Yep. Unbelievable. Again being in this business now I am still blown away at how awful this salon was run and that horrible stylist I was placed with hopefully she has changed occupations. I would never treat a client like that I love and appreciate each one of my clients and love what I do and just had to post about my experience because I am still bothered that these people treated me so poorly.

Couldnt pay me to return..... I went to Euphoria regularly for about two years and then my stylist left. I continued to go and the two times I have been back have been HORRIBLE... the first time meeting me, the stylist told me my hair was damaged, thin, and when my bangs looked bad, she blamed it on my non-existant cow-lick... how about working on your "bedside" manner? I brought in a picture of thick side-bangs and she gave me thin 80s bangs... so despite the fact that my hair looked horrible, I gave her another shot (everyone has a bad day - although I'm having a bad hair day everyday until my bangs grow out) and scheduled another appointment. She was 35 minutes late for my appointment and was completely baffled that I had to go back to work in the middle of the day on a Tuesday. She was pestering me to get a dye-job (two-tone, brown on top, blond on bottom) when I told her I've never colored my hair and I wasnt interested. I asked her to trim all of the split ends, but found some in the car on the way back to work. So bottom line, she can almost trim hair but my last two appointments were miserable and they couldnt pay me to return.

Things going on under the table!. I want to give a heads up to the people who put their trust in a Upscale Salon. I work there for a time and while the details of my position are not needed, i can tell you that MANY things were done under the table and not legal. The owner would have Employees not licensed to do certain services do them. and did not at all treat her employees well unless they were her "stylish" team.

The state of NC requires certain certifications and licensing for certain services MOST of which her employees where NOT certified to do so but she forced them to do them anyways or lose your job.

Many other things i could list here but having worked there i know all the things that go on behind close doors.

Also many of her 'products' the owner makes herself and has them in other bottles with "name brand"

If you dont care about paying high prices for something that 50% of the time ISNT in the bottle and if you dont mind having someone work on you who hasnt passed the proper schooling and test to do so then you will be fine to continue to go there and "think" you are treated well.

Wow!!!! Good places do still exist........ I am celebrating my 18th wedding anniversary tomorrow, 2/14/11. I needed my hair done. I thought about Euphoria Salon, I had not been there since 11/04. I was not sure if it was still open. Looked it up online, called, and the rest is history. Yana colored, cut and styled my hair. I was very pleased. Thank you, Yana and Donna (the best professional hand massage I have ever had), for making my hair and hands, fabulous for my anniversary. You Guys' are the best!!!! Mazel Tov
