A great Salon. I get my hair cut and colored at the Cotswold Salon. Donald always gives a great hair cut and Andrea does my color just as I like it. The Loreal products are truly amazing. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone who wants to look great and also wants great services. The value added services that are provided make you feel very special. Carmen Carmen is an asset to the city of Charlotte,

GREAT PLACE. I just had my hair cut and colored by Brittnay. I look gorgeous. She is so talented and very sweet.

I also booked a facial with Stephanie. I will always go back to Stephanie. She is wonderful. It was so relaxing and she helped me with my sensitive skin.

I will definitely go back to Carmen! Carmen! and will recommend it to anyone.

will not go back. The service and responsiveness has definitely declined. They do not seem to care that you are kept waiting - never bothering to follow up with you and make you feel like you are valued....

They CANCEL my appt. the NIGHT BEFORE TWICE. 2 years ago, I made an appointment for my 30th birthday (location University). I made the appointment 1 month in advance to make sure I would look flawless on this special day. The receptionist called me THE NIGHT BEFORE TO CANCEL MY APPOINTMENT. I called Varji & Varji and explained the situation. They were able to fit me in.

Last month, I won a complementary pedicure from C&C. Therefore, I decided to give them another chance. I called a different location (NorthLake Mall). Again, they called me last night to cancel my pedicure. Both times AND both locations, they were not apologetic.

won't tell me where my stylist went. I would have given this place five stars in the past, because my stylist (Angie) was incredible. But now she is gone and they won't tell me where she went. So, if anyone knows where Angie is working now, could you please leave a comment here? I've had stylists leave other salons in the past but the salon was always willing to tell me where they went and give me the option to stay or follow the stylist. A good stylist is hard to find and they are not interchangeable.

JUST FOUND! :D. I have been looking for a few of my favorite stylists because they left Carmen Carmen, and we all know they wont tell you where anyone went. Andrew and Autumn are at re SALON + MEDSPA in the south end area (704-334-8087) resalonandmedspaDOTcom (please tell me you get the hint)

Just in case anyone else was looking for their former Carmen Carmen stylist, i heard a few have come from other Carmen Carmen's as well.

I HOPE THIS HELPS ANYONE WHO HAS BEEN GIVEN THE COLD SHOULDER IN THEIR SEARCH FOR THEIR STYLIST! I KNOW ID APPRECIATE IT.

treat employees unfairly. Well let's just say I know a fellow ex-employee whom is a great stylist and friend who worked at the University location and was out of work due to medical absence.... And the company fired her while she was still out on medical leave!!!!! I feel personaly she was treated poorly and very unfair in her situation. Carmen! Carmen! must not care too much about their employees and only care about putting money in Carmens bank account!!!!! So if u have a stylist/friend whom you see just beware that they could be there one day and not the next!!! The company has no remorse what so ever!!! Take this information as you feel but I hate to see her gone and will let everyone I know about this situation and hope that they lose alot of business due to it! Great hairstylists are hard to come by and become people you depend on and I understood this employees situation and was completely fine with waiting on her to come back.... the other sylists I saw in her absence did not give me the services that she did.

I'm NOT impressed.... I have been coloring my hair for 30 yrs...auburn or a mahogany shade of red (not box color). I wanted to go blonde so I went to Carmen Carmen, thinking the name & rep was good.

I ended up being there almost 8 hrs and had foils put in my hair 3 different times and YANKED out, giving me a headache by the #3 time. Did I leave blonde?? NOT! I ended up with beige hair! Not even close to blonde and $204. poorer for it. I'd not go back. It was a HUGE waste of my money and time.

Fabulous! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!. I recently visited Carmen! Carmen! and had a wonderful experience. When I walked through the door I was immediately greeted and offered something to drink. Instead of them pointing me to the waiting area, I was literally walked to the seat shown with an open hand. While i was waiting i was offered a complimentary hand massage which i definitely enjoyed! My service provider took me back to the nail room right on time and was very engaging. Not once did i ever feel like an inconvenience. After my nail appointment I went for my shampoo blowdry and again was offered a neck and head massage before my service began. During my service she explained certain techniques that she used to style my hair, she explained what products were used & how much to use of each. After the young lady was finished with my hair i was in awe! It was fabulous. I will definitely be returning to Carmen Carmen Salon!
