I have been a Carmen Carmen customer for years & am most excited to go back again this Tuesday for a haircut. The employees are always friendly, courteous, helpful in making appts with my difficult schedule. I love laying back in the massage chair while getting a head massage & hair washed. The color & cuts always turn out great followed by me receiving many compliments outside of the salon. I highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for quality hair care services. And Carmen himself is a joy! I won a contest back in Dec. for a free color & cut...it was a wonderful day of pampering!

DEPLORABLE service!! Be warned...... I wanted to let people knew what a terrible experience I had with this salon (at Cotswold). I called to make an appointment to have my hair color lightened for a anniversary trip with my husband. I told the receptionist I would like an appt. that day if one was available. I also explained that I normally did my own hair but tried a shade darker, didn't care for the results and wanted a professional to "correct" the color. She said to come at 3. I arrive and two girls start looking at my hair and making me feel awful! They were very condescending! They acted like it was a sin that I colored my own hair, even though I told them I had been doing it for years and loved the results. They told me I had "so many colors" in my hair (well YES, I like the contrast of highlights, and do not like looking like it was dyed all one color!) and asked if I had "been painting" in a very condescending tone... yes, I DID have a spot of paint in my hair... and yes as a matter of fact I painted my WHOLE house. ?? One hair with a tiny spot of white paint on the end of ONE hair did NOT surprise me. By this time I felt like I had a made a mistake! They acted like they did not know what to do to lighten my hair and made me feel like it was ruined (I knew better!!) They proceeded to cut about 6 inches off (I wanted a trim) and I HATED my hair when I left. It was not blonde at all. They also made me feel bad that they were staying over their normal closing time to do MY hair. I never asked them to do that...THEY made the appt.!! They had quoted me a price of 140.00 on the phone and charged 240.00. When I questioned the receptionist and pointed out that they had charged me much more than quoted she said, "well they had to use a toner". WHAT?? A toner is a simple process...?? Very cheap, too. My hair was not much different than when I came in but they assured me if I "kept coming in" they could get it blonde again. ??? The receptionist kept telling me how nice it looked, I think to convince herself! I knew better!! I went home and did it myself! Blonde. It is STILL growing out from the cut ... I have since found a WONDERFUL person to do my hair at a fraction of this cost. (Katie Byrd at Lennox Salon on South Blvd.) Whatever you do avoid Christina and Ashley at any cost... especially 240.00!! I do my own coloring once again and Katie keeps it cut. I LOVE it now. Live and Learn!!

Carmen Carmen/Donald Case. I have been a client of Donald at Carmen Carmen Cotswold for the past 5 years. I have never left the salon that I was not pleased with my hair cut or color. He stays up to date on the latest techniques and products. He listens to what I want and produces results better than I expect every time. The salon is easily accessible and it is also a relaxing environment. I would recommend Donald to anyone who wants to look like a million bucks and never worry about a bad hair cut or color again!

Yes!!! Yes!!! Yes!!!. I recently had my hair colored by Andrea at Carmen Carmen Salon in the Cotswold Shopping Center...she was FANTASTIC!!!! She performed a very complicated 3 process color on my hair and it turned out PERFECT!!! I would recommend her services to anyone who wants to look like a million dollars..Great staff as well, very friendly and courteous from the time I walked in to the time I left. If you have never been there, give it a try...I guarantee you will be a happy camper!!!!!!

Great hair color and great spa services. My first visit to Carmen Carmen was for a spa day. I had a mini facial, an hour massage and finished with a mani pedi. All of the services were outstanding. The spa area is great and so are the technicians. Jill did a wonderful job on my nails - in fact the manicure lasted for three weeks! She also does hair color, so I returned and she warmed up my blond or the fall season; it turned out great. All in all fantastic service from everyone and I will return!

Haircut & Color. Carmen Carmen in Cotswold is great. Andrea does a terrific job with color. I had someone different cutting my hair this time. I was pleased with how she listened and explained how she was going to cut my hair the way I wanted.

Donald Case.. Best in the Business. Donald Case is by far the Best in the Business! He has been cutting, coloring, styling... my hair for over eight years. I wouldn't go anywhere else.. That is , unless he left! What makes him different is his Vision! He is truly gifted!

WORST ESTABLISHMENT EVER!!! CLASSLESS. I normally visit Varji Varji to get my hair done; however my stylist wasnt available and all I needed was a toner on my highlights to bring them just a shade darker. I called Carmen Carmen thinking this was a simple process as I have had assistants perform this in the past. WRONG WRONG WRONG!! I walked out of Carmen Carmen with a COMPLETELY different haircolor. I had medium blonde hair prior to walking in, and walked out with dark auburn hair. WHAT?!!!! The girl who did my hair didnt even show me the final result, she just wlaked me to the front. Not only was it a different color, but there were splotches and areas where she completely missed putting color on. When I called to get a corrective color since I had spent over $1000 in the past 4 months getting my highlights where I wanted them, they scheduled me with another girl. I had a consultation with her, and felt confident that we oculd move in the right direction. Walking out, she tells me I will have to pay the difference of her price and the girl who screwed my hair up' s price. Then the front desk tried to charge me for my consultation!!! I have never EVER been to a salon that makes you pay for THEIR mistakes. I guess that is why I am a client of VArji Varji and NOT a dumpy, classless joint like Carmen Carmen. My hair is a dark brown now, with extremely suttle highlights underneath...so basically I have no highlights. Do yourself a favor and go to a salon that values its clients. This place is a joke!!! I cant believe they are still in business.

Feel Special at Carmen Carmen Salon. I've been a loyal customer of Carmen Carmen Salon for the past 5 years because I feel special when I'm there and look magnificent when I leave. It's more than a "service" -- it's an experience. Regardless of why you come in (consultation, haircut, hair color, massage, facial, waxing, etc.), you'll get the same special attention. I could just spend all day there -- and have! That's why I've recommended Carmen Carmen Salon to everyone I know.

The Only Place For Me. Cheri Swain at the Cotswold Salon has styled and colored my hair for about 10 years. Every single time my hair is perfect, and I have often been stopped by total strangers to ask where I have my hair done. Ten years without one disappointment... that has to be a record! She is a master, and I value her artistry. She could go to any salon of her choosing, but she has been with Carmen for about 20 years. The best stay with the best.

The staff is always welcoming, gracious and ready to help.

I recommend this salon to anyone who asks.
