Tips for Perry's At Southpark

Personalities go here to die. What stiff, pretentious snobs. $1.00 per pound for silverplate. Hey, you are the guys that advertise buying silverplate - don't act like we're wasting your time and please don't waste mine. Wouldn't go back to Perry's even if they had wholesale Rolex watches.

High class Pawn shop. This place is a joke. After seeing their ad, I decided to go by and get a 2nd quote for my jewelry. I signed in and waited nearly an hour to be offered much less for my Jewelry than the previous place I'd just came from. There is absolutely NOTHING special about this place nor what they pay. Reminds me of a high class pawn shop. Save time and money, go else where..

Beware of Perry's. I had the absolute misfortune of attempting to sell a 18k gold & stainless Rolex watch and a set of diamond earrings to them a year ago.

I dealt with a woman named Ogundiran who claimed to be a graduate gemologist. I felt as if I was dealing with a pawn shop. She offered me $1000 for a Rolex watch that I soon after sold for $3500 on Craigslist, and $100 for diamond earrings that had just been appraised at $3000, and which I sold on Ebay for $1500.

I have never been so disappointed with what is supposed to be a high-quality retailer.

If you are forced to deal with them, do yourself a favor and get a competing bid!

Very Fair Prices & Nice Knowledgable people to deal with. I went there last week to sell my scrap gold and silver jewelry. What a surprise! I was so happy that I can afford the trip I was planning on, but didn't know how I was going to afford it.

The buyer I dealt with was such a nice person. She was so knowledgable, patient and helpful that it put me completely at ease. I can say that we actually had fun! I am now going to check to see what else I have to sell so I can go back one more time before I leave.

Thank you Perry's at South Park. You gave me much more money for my small amount of jewelry than any one else in town said they would. I will be back.

Good Prices and Pretty Jewelry. The ring almost ruined my marriage before we even got hitched. I laid out some serious change on a diamont engagement ring at Perry's. My girlfriend was all happy with it until one of her friends said that I probably got ripped off. So I take the ring to Diamonts Inc.. Guy asks me where I bought it and how much. I tell him and he says that its worth $5,000.00 less than I paid for it. Great. I clam up. I didn't say anything to my girlfriend. I just said I didn't have time to get it apprased. I figure I'll raise some dust at Perrys after I calm down and my fiancees hair gets untwisted.

We go to Atlanta to visit the folks and announce the engagement. And I figure lets have somebody there look at the ring from h3ll. I ask the jeweler what the ring's worth. The guy spent some time looking at it pretty close and says twelve to thirteen, maybe more. He said if I left it with him he could give me a more exact price. What he told me was good enough. I paid eleven and some change.

The guy at Diamonts Inc. said it was worth six grand. I can see somebody being a few maybe a hundred bucks off, but off by six grand to nine grand?

Hey, I'm happy with the ring. My wife (same girl) is happy with the ring.

Yep. Shop at Perry's.

Manager not rude if you are RICH. I found the place snooty. They advertise "top prices paid for gold"! After chunking my engagement ring into the scale (retailed for $2500 at a well known local jewelry store), the guy offered me $100. He acted like my ring was something out of a box of cracker jacks!!! Found out that the very rude sales person was actually the manager! Very rude and disrespectful. Will not go back and will tell my friends. Folks don't go there unless you have extremely expensive jewelery to sell.... might be nice to you then. Don't expect top dollar if you do. Who hired this manager?

Exceptional. Period!. I purchased my wedding band with Jo Dowless at Perry's and could not have asked for a better experience. Perry's does have plenty of merchandise I could never dream of affording, but I was never made to feel as if I wasn't the "caliber" of shopper they're used to. Jo was patient and knowledgeable, and I even ended up finding a ring for 60% off during a clearance sale.

About six months after my wedding, I felt as if one of the diamonds in my ring was a bit loose. I happened to be at the mall and just walked in - they tightened up the setting while I was shopping and I didn't have to go a day without my ring on.

I will admit that Perry's was out of my price range for my husband's wedding band, but they have unparalleled service and one of the best selections of estate jewelry I've ever seen. There are many unique pieces for a wide variety of budgets. I highly recommend taking a look if you're shopping for wedding jewelry or a beautiful gift, if only to experience what high-end jewelry shopping should truly be like.
